This is their last year of total dominance although there still going to be a top 4 team I'm sure

    I disagree with Geno.

Dan Shaughnessy is a sports writer he is supposed to give his opinion whether it's positive or negative about anything pertaining to sports.

UConn is -60,000 ML tomorrow on 5 dimes.

I mean, you'd have to spend $600 to just win $1. Some of those lines are just silly.

What the f*ck is this sh*t?

I thought this was going to be some kind of sarcastic thread about Geno Smith, one of the worst QBs in the NFL. I am thoroughly disappointed.

Isn't it nice to have 6 of the top 10 recruits every year and lead by 40 every game. Must be tough to coach an all world team every game. It's compared to a #1 seed in men's vs the 100th team off the bubble. How does he do it? There is a reason he won't touch men's basketball because he would lose the biggest advantage of any sport.

There is no rule that says only UConn is the only program can sign McDonald's All Americans.
You want to be on their level, go out and sign them.

Jim Calhoun has said a million times Geno is the greatest women's basketball coach that ever lived because he coaches the women as they are men.

Geno studied John Wooden, his coaching style is a lot like Wooden's was.
He won't leave Connecticut for the same reasons K won't leave Duke, he's a god here, why should he leave.

You guys can make the claim a good boys JB team can beat the girls, but you can not say Geno can't coach on any level, he can, because of his coaching style, coaching is coaching, teaching is teaching, you teach talent how to play John Wooden style the way Wooden taught it, chances are you will be successful.

We will never know, he ain't leaving Stoors, he's revered here, and he is the face of the the entire athletic department.
When he steps down he'll either be AD or sell his wine.

My wife met him when he came into her store, class act,
Has his own line of wines, nice pub in Mohegan Sun too.

As a sports writer Dan Shaughnessy has the human right to express his thoughts about something related to sport. There is other thing if you agree with him or not and this is already your right and nobody can take it from you.

Woman's Hoops bigger because of UCONN

Dominant teams and players make sports more popular

I live in Fairfield Connecticut, I (through work) have major connections I work with UConn grads, Yale grads, Fairfield grads.
I mean some of the people I work with are senior level management.
I am on a waiting list for tonight's game, it's in Bridgeport at Webster Arena, 3 miles from me.
I have connections and I am not holding my breath for a ticket for the Texas game tonight.

They got 12 players on their team, and 5 are McDonald's All Americans and a 6th was the best player from Canada. The problem with women's basketball is that there's no depth of talent across the board.

On the men's side, its not uncommon for Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina to have 6+ McDonald's All Americans on their roster every year - but those teams never blow out their peers by 40+ points in the tourney. It's because the depth of men's basketball is so great that other teams can still find good players who are not All Americans.

Women's basketball is terrible. The elite players are really good, but then it drops way way off. And if UConn can collect a majority of the elites, nobody else can compete with them.

Maryland usually has top recruiting classes and 2016 better than UCONN

UCONN does not always have the top recruiting classes..many years they do not

    I said I don't want to give Texas 31.
    What's your point?

I think there will be more than 138.5 points scored, how is this a homer selection?

If you have the 60 dollars, do you really need the one dollar.
60 to 1 is not even true odds, it's more like 40 to 1 straight up, books juice the m/l to the heavens.

Any how, if you have the 60 to lay, why do you need the one dollar?

And if you laid the 15.5 first half, you are hating life right now.

    Game line -31
    Total 138.5

    1H line UConn -15.5
