    ok fair enough but how many of us have the stones to make bold predictions like he does sure it doesnt pan out sometimes but when you bet +300 dogs you dont even need to hit 50% to pull a profit

    lakerboy is always on the verge of a massive run.

    the trick with lakerboy is you have to figure out when he's just feeling himself or when he has a real good opinion on a game. yesterday his lakers post in particular had that focused lakerboy vibe. i wish i had acted on my gut when i read it. it was vintage lakerboy, dare i say 2009-2010 lakerboy, and i passed like a fool.

    Being a good capper is more than taking a dog every day and hitting a streak now and then. In my opinion the goal is to be a high percentage capper. Like in the 60% range, this way you are steadily making a profit and you are avoiding the huge ups and downs. Keep posting winners! That's what its all about!

    LB is putting plays out there every day, usually with a good deal of thought behind them. And he's been winning a lot more than losing. A lot of other guys just post to criticize some handicapper's opinion. I know it's a slow time of year but there aren't enough guys actually handicapping.

    winning betters can hit an average of -110 at 56% or higher. hitting big plays and hitting dogs here and there is not sustainable strategy long term. you're never going to win if you can't hit a -110 bet at 56 57 percent consistently. can't say "oh I hit the big plays"....won't work out over 20 year span. trust me.

    Prime example. Tonight he's got the Celtics ML +145 AND +3.5 at -110. If he wins only on the spread then he breaks even minus the juice. Will this count as part of "the streak"? Hitting any bet is great but there's nothing special about hitting the spread, just good capping. oh but "Winners don't bet into only -110 lines on spreads"! Puhhh-leeez!

    I have more on the spread. You didn't get my point about -110. I was suggesting that gamblers need to get better juice on spread even + if possible to save money.
