I just got kicked out of Circle.com.

    What the hell?

I withdrew some money last night, and woke up to this e-mail:

    ***

    Hi,

I regret to inform you that after a careful review of your account, Circle will not be able to offer you service.
As a federally regulated money service business, we are subject to the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. Gambling on our platform is outlined as prohibited in the ''Restricted Activities" sections of our User Agreement (sections 17 and 18).
Per Section 6 of the Agreement, the funds remaining in your account can be withdrawn to a linked fiat account before it is closed. Please withdraw your funds within two weeks of this notification. After two weeks, they will be inaccessible without contacting customer support.
Please reference the User Agreement should you have any further questions.

I think I may have screwed up one time and sent money directly to the book. But this was like two months ago.

    This is a nightmare.

I've got a good amount of BTC sitting in nitrogen. Looks like I'll have to find another way to get it out.

You should never go directly from circle to book, that was your mistake. I go coin base to blockchain to book. Once is all it takes if circle has the book's address tagged.

I think this is what got you even though it took a couple of months.

They can trace the transaction Circle > Wallet > Book but they aren't going to find you guilty unless you went straight Circle > Book one time.

    Can you use Coinbase?

It was just surprising because I've made other transactions in that time, but last night was the first time I've sent money back to my bank account.

Should I bother fighting it, or just move on?

I don't have a Coinbase account, but I guess I could make one. What are their limits like? I had 3,000 at Circle.

The limits are similar to Circle. I'd just move on since they aren't going to change their mind at this point.

    Thanks for all the info.

So, you'd say my best next move is Coinbase? I've heard they charge money buying and selling, is that true?

Nitrogen is one book that most can get away with going straight Circle/Nitrogen. They use a lot of different wallets for withdrawals.

You can change your deposit address up to 5 times/day. Change your deposit address on occasion just to make sure that you don't have a problem.

The pure bitcoin books hide it better than the fiat books.

You still think this is the reason I got busted? I can't imagine doing anything else wrong. Maybe I should have used different blockchains. I used the same one every time, and made about 18 transfers.

I'm 99% sure that Circle to book transaction red flagged your account. Then they tracked subsequent transactions.

I think that it's unnecessary to change your blockchain.info account but that obviously would be better to do.

If you make a mistake one time going Circle/Coinbase to sportsbook, definitely change your blockchain.info wallet. That still may not help but at least clouds it some.

It just took me like 10 times to verify my phone.

    Finally got that situated.

Glad you like the place. I was a big fan of Circle, you know, up until today.

I felt circle robbed you with the "going rate" for BTC at the present time. You'll find out that Coinbase... (in my opinion) has lower fees and gives you the closest current price for BTC.

They start you off at $100 for instant transfer. After two successful transactions... I was bumped up to $200.00 instantly. I need to 2-3 more transactions.... and they'll bump you to the next level. Don't know what Level 3 is??? But I'm sure someone here does. If it's $500 instantly... that would be great.

Good luck Giant. Hope you like it pal.
