Warning To All Vegas App Players

DO NOT USE a friend's account

100% they can confiscate money under fraud clause

Simple to match up IP's with their location software

They do not USE IP addresses mainly to catch you...geo location is how they get you

Many already have had funds locked and in court meaning gaming commission

    It is not worth it

Why didn't you use a lightbulb for the third sentence?

    Was it less important?

In Laughlin there was a guy trying to use his App for William Hill while inside Harrah's but it kept registering that he was coming from Arizona and wouldn't let him bet. The river is the border and even my phone would change an hour in parts of the casino (Arizona doesn't change clocks for daylight savings but Nevada does).

I was worried about any online action while in Nevada too. I make it a policy to warn any relevant online books that I will be traveling and making wagers from someplace other than my office, which is the usual ip address.

I try to head off the bullshit before it comes back to bite and I have to deal with it after the fact.

From what I'm reading here if I were banned, then I would try to place bets throught a friend. If my friend comes over to my house, I see how ip and GPS could cause a problem.

But what if I go to a friend's or the action is done away from my banned ip and location.

Are they checking proximity? What if it's hundreds of miles away? what if it's 5 miles away? Is this one of those situations where if the proximity is close enough they start thumbing through each account holder's social media?

Or are they checking betting patterns? How do they weed one player out of the mess. Or is this just for market beating or steam bettors?

I suppose they don't need proof to take action, but what kind of things does the book see that makes them decide there is inappropriate behavior?

    I need answers Gold.
