    Leafer, just remember to stay in the moment. Whenever I have quit anything I try to add something like pushups or going to the gym as a substitute activity. When I quit cigs I was yoked.

    Agree with this sentiment.

    It's hard not to gamble and drink during the football playoffs. If I'm taking a sabbatical from those vices I pick August, slow time of year for sports and you have football to look forward to in September.

    Either way, gl Leafer. The first few weeks are tough, but once it starts setting in you'll find other ways to occupy your time, if only to keep a sense of sanity.

    There's a good chance I cave on both.

    I forgot that I transferred $100 to my bitcoin last week.

    Today, Andrea told me that my Christmas present was a nice bottle of bourbon... she may give it to me tonight.

    I weighed myself this morning at 196, but I feel like scale was broken. Work until 230, will weigh in again.

    Would be much easier for me to not drink....Then again would just smoke weed and dabble with other "things" more often

    As for gambling, I either have to have daily fantasy or betting action on the reg

    Just enjoy your life and do what you wanna do while trying to keep longterm health and goals in mind as much as possible.....99% of us are addicts in some way and degree whether we admit it or not so best to ride the wave than fight it off completely
