    Miss Universe Pageant 2015 - Steve Harvey screws up. Announces wrong winner!

    Steve Harvey called out Miss USA as the second runner-up and it came down to Miss Colombia and Miss Philippines. Harvey had the card in hand and gave a long dramatic pause before shouting out that the “new Miss Universe is…COLOMBIA.”
    Music played, flowers were brought out, and the crowd cheered as the crown was placed on her head and the sash around her. She waved to the crowd for about a minute and kept getting cheered on.


    That is, until Steve Harvey interjected and had to let everyone know there had been a mistake. Harvey had announced the wrong winner of the Miss Universe Pageant 2015.

    I really thought he was joking when I was watching it live. No way in hell could he make that mistake could he? Damn, he did. How embarrassing. Especially for Ms. Columbia who giving out the peace sign.

    “I will take responsibility for this. It was my mistake. It was on the card. Horrible mistake, but the right thing…I can show it to you right here. The first runner-up is Colombia. It is my mistake. Still a great night. Please don’t hold it against the ladies. Please don’t.”
    Miss Colombia stood there with the flowers in her hands, and she did a good job of keeping it together as the crown was taken off of her head. It was then that a huge smile came across the face of Miss Philippines as she was announced as the official new Miss Universe.

    Miss Universe 2015: Betting Odds on Winner and Favorite Contestants

    The Super Bowl of pageantry, Miss Universe 2015, will air Sunday night at 7 p.m. Eastern on Fox live from Las Vegas, and in the spirit of Sin City, bets are being made on who will be crowned victorious. While 80 contestants have a chance at snagging the crown, the odds are better for some of the beauties. Betting site Odds Shark compiled a list of odds of who will win the 64th Miss Universe title using stats from Bovada. If the odds are correct, Miss Australia Monika Radulovic will be crowned, with +550 odds. The first (and last) time Miss Australia won was in 2004.
    Here's more on the top five contestants favored to win the Miss Universe 2015 crown:
    1. Miss Australia, Monika Radulovic

    Monika Radulovic was born in Bosnia but fled the country along with her family at the start of the Yugoslav Wars and lived as a refugee in Denmark for a year, according to her Miss Universe bio. She has an honors degree in psychology and works as a model.

    Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is of Filipino and German descent, according to her Miss Universe bio. She's coming into the pageant as a heavy favorite, as four out of the last five Miss Philippines placed in the top five at Miss Universe. Wurtzbach currently works as an actress, model and stylist.
    3. Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez Arévalo

    If there's any contestant facing major pressure, it's Ariadna Gutierrez Arévalo: The current Miss Universe, Paulina Vega, hails from Colombia. Arévalo, who bears a striking resemblance to Colombian actress Sofía Vergara, says her family calls her a "cat lady" because of her love of felines.
    4. Miss USA, Olivia Jordan

    Olivia Jordan of Oklahoma won Miss USA in July. Jordan, who has a bachelors in health science from Boston University, is another huge favorite for the crown: Eight Miss USAs have gone on to win Miss Universe, with last year's winner, Nia Sanchez, placing first runner-up to the title.

    Marthina Brandt, 23, hails from Valle Real. According to her bio, she's a good cook and has been ice skating since she was 4 years old.

    I thought he was joking, too. My wife is Colombian and my mother-in-law is here from Bogota until January 19th(penetrate!), so when Miss Colombia won they where Skyping with family. I wish I had that shit recorded when old Stevie came out and announced to the world he couldn't read.

    said it both ways, just like the commercial, first angry, then pleading for mercy
