Sportsbooks have me on a "Cash only" deposit list

i would like to use c/d method to deposit. much less hassle than peer to peer methods.

3 sportsbooks so far (betonline, heritage, 5dimes) told me a 3rd party processor set my account for "cash" deposits only. meaning i can only use peer to peer transfer methods.

i just spoke to a betonline CS representative and he said he would not reveal the name of the 3rd party company.

i would like to find out the name of this 3rd party company, or a phone number to contact them, and ask them why my name is on such a list.

i dont know if it is relevant but my credit score is 787, which is decent. so i never charged back on a cred1t c deposit, never did anything shady with a sportsbook. trying to scam a sportsbook is retarded, these companies will do anything to take your money.

anyone have any info or advice on this?

not sure if it means anything or not, but my recent withdrawal and transaction just got voided and blocked by W*!......things are starting to get shady as I've never had any kind of problems either...I might have to start exclusively using M* as they don't seem to be as picky as the other guys...I'm still waiting to hear back from betdsi and what will happen to my funds.

You're being profiled somehow whether it's from the processor or the books. Some books share lists of people who charge-back and blacklist them from using CC/Debit payments. They usually get the information from IESNARE. So at one point one or more computers you've owned have been finger printed. Maybe it wasn't even you who made the deposit (maybe shared CPU) but your hardware fingerprint and hence the accounts asscioated with it are caught in the dragnet. You can't get off the list.

p2p are not good options anymore either. Bitcoin is really the only viable alternative for USA punters now and even that has drawbacks.

I hear ya, man...it effin' sucks!...W* got too big for their britches...I sincerely hope it comes back and bites them in the ass...getting back to OP's original question, I've never done a charge back so C* option should always be available for me as a deposit method...

It is the processor that your sports book is using! You'll be able to find some sportsbooks that use a different processor that will work just fine for you. Sportsbooks try to steer us to certain methods. You don't get an honest answer to why it does not work. I think you can find a sportsbook with a processor that will take your deposit the way you want to do it.

If it is info from the Iovation system then it's tied to your personal ID info now. A new device won't change that.

If it is from Iovation, you can contact them here but there is almost zero chance it will help as they do not advise books what to do with their info. Just provide a platform to ID people and share reports.

    Zeta,
have you ever done a charge back or had any kind of conflicts using C* method?!...It might also be the bank that your card is issued to as I've had these same kind of problems but never blacklisted completely per se.

Honestly I doubt they will even admit to holding data on you. It's only a guess that is the source of the issue as well. But it can't hurt to ask if there is a way to amend your record or dispute it.

use bitcoins at heritage and nitrogen. many gamblers have financial wreckage in their past so they are having problems with connecting their bank account & CC, if they have them, with a bitcoin exchange. otherwise it is bob's your uncle. at coinbase a person in good standing can move thousands per week

If you have recently made a lot of deposits larger than normal processors will do this. I once made about 2K worth of deposits at a pokerroom a few years back within a week, and shortly after I was cash only deposit. Its to protect against chargebacks...

no i never charged back. thats grimy. the only incident i ever had with a c* and sportsbook is with bodog in 2006.

i used my bank dc to deposit $500 and didnt think anything of it at the time. this was during the neteller days.

a month later i get a notice from my bank. they identified the transaction as illegal internet gambling and they shut down my dc and cancelled the transaction. they let me keep my bank acct tho.

also shari told me a few years ago, that anyone you are responsible for anyone that you ever refer to a sportsbook. so in 2008 back when sbrchat was poppin, me and the sbr buddies would talk about signing up at new books, nice signup bonuses, etc.

so i referred random people i didnt even know just to get the 10% freeplay as a referral bonus. now if these people ever try to scam a book, then that reflects negatively upon me. and lord knows we have some shady people on sbr lol.

And if M G and W U are cracking down... (I heard W U was for any amount.) Might have to look into BTC.

well, good luck man......I hope I don't get blacklisted or cash only treatment...it would make depositing a pain in the ass since my nearest M G location is 15 minutes away from where I live...

You guys should look into Bitcoin. There should be plenty of threads about it. Once, you make couple transactions, you will see how easy it is to move money around at Bitcoin books(especially at Nitrogensports).

yeah i will try to get into this. i know bitcoin value fluctuates a lot. so i would only only want to have my money in bitcoin status for as short a time as possible.

At Nitrogensports, deposits/withdrawals are pretty much instant.

I know that most of U.S traditional books(5dimes, Heritage,...) converts Bitcoin deposits into USD. But, these traditional books don't have infrastructures like Bitcoin books, so deposits/withdrawals are not smooth, especially 5dimes is way behind the curve, Heritage is better.

I think you can just deposit with Bitcoin at these traditional books, then withdraw with other methods.

I can use my *********** at every sportsbook but one. they have me on cash only and told me their processor will not allow me to use a ***********. I don’t know why. I have never done anything to cheat a sportsbook and hate scammers who do. But I do recall one time many years ago a sportsbook promised a good bonus in writing and I made the deposit by *********** but then they said they could not honor that bonus and offered a lower bonus (the old bait and switch tactic). I held firm and told them I would not accept that. It’s kinda a matter of principle with me. I honor my commitments and expect others to do the same. I also think if players allow sportsbook to do this then they may do it to more players. I argued with the sportsbook for a few days and did not place and wagers and told them I expect them to honor the bonus they promised when I made the deposit. A few days later I saw they refunded my deposit to my *********** without even telling me. I wonder if this is what caused the problem with the one sportsbook telling me I am cash only.

I also recall I made a deposit at oddsmaker many years ago and won money but when I requested my first withdrawal they cheated me like they cheated many other people but they did refund my initial deposit to my *********** and kept all my winnings.

I also believe some sportsbooks pay players by refunding deposits to the players ***********. The player may not even want that but the sportsbook does it anyway and then the player may get screwed and be put on some cash only list.

It frustrating that players can’t get off the cash only list when they have done nothing wrong.
