Time to tie what? I am sure you live in Van and are a big fan....but does that mean that they will win every game?

Point to one stat that would lead you to believe that Vancouver would win this game. 'Not' isn't going to cut it.

As as for everyone else, easy money. Added $860 to the bankroll without a lot of stress.

Ruder, it is time. Last year they went 22-4-5 in one goal games. That is unsustainable. Frankly, they were statistically lucky to make the playoffs.

Missed that raps spread with some more questionable calls down the stretch.
    Good push though!

Hey bud!! Yeah, it was a little disappointing. They should have won outright. Tonight I wouldn't blame the refs as much as poor play calling and bad execution. They had every opportunity. They just pushed the ball into bad areas on the floor.

At least a push isn't a loss! Next time.

u made some good but this game was on the edge to a van win ... instad a 5on3 ... miller gave the game away with his misshandle shot over the glas ... i'm not a fan ... van was better team in 2nd and 3rd !!!

Sorry, they were not the better team in the third. But I won't argue semantics with you.....the Jets were the play here from every angle. They have more outright wins, they have more depth, they have more team speed, they were at home, and the most important factor, the Canucks were at the tail end of a 7 game road trip, playing terribly and imagining sleeping in their own beds, and on and on.....and it was basically even money.

This game was a no brainer. I am only peaved that I only laid $760 to win $860. I called a friend before I made the wager, asking if there was an angle I wasn't seeing. Nope. All there in black and white.

    Agreed D2D.
The canucks were out shot 23-16 in the 2nd & 3rd periods & power plays were dead even in those two periods.

Didn't watch the game but from the highlights I've seen today, Jets were never in this game.

The next SBR Bash will be at the lake house. How's that?

As for tonight, it was a complete wash. The Flyers lost late in OT, 1-0 and the Caps gave up a goal with next to no time left to lose their game too. Within a dollar or two of breaking even....so, no biggie either way.

    See y'all tomorrow.

    Wagers for tonight:

    NHL:

    Toronto/Carolina over 5
    Nashville/Columbus over 5.5
    New York Islander over Montreal

    NBA:

    Phoenix/Denver over 207
    Memphis -4 over Houston

Kind of funny....I seem to win when I don't post games. Two nights ago I didn't post 3 late NBA plays and went 3-0. Last night I didn't post my NFL game or my late play in the NBA, 2-0.

Still up on this thread.....but up $5400 in the past 21 days overall. Good times.

    Huge card for tonight....

Anaheim Ducks and Minnesota Wild are by far m largest plays....yes, both are favourites, yes I have to lay a small amount of juice on both, yes they are both the public side.

Cash it it and play again tomorrow.
