Yeah and Marian Hossa is also going to miss the game, most likely.

Hossa out takes some depth away for Hawks, if I recall correctly he is also top producer in recent mutual games between these two. Despite that it's a miracle how Kings have won 7 straight (okay, most of them were relatively easy opponents) since top line is nowhere to be found, Kopitar the main playmaker has ZERO asists, the only line which is producing is the second line with Lucic, Toffoli and Carter. Toffoli the top scorer, what the penetrate, this will not last a long time and once this line goes dark again bad results will come, unless Gaborik and Kopi start producing. They are lucky they have Quick and gritty phisical playing style which matches well against many teams. I'm waiting for a decent team to show them their place and pound them with 3+ goals. Hawks and Blues have troubles with injuries otherwise I doubt Kings would be a match for these two. I wanted to take Chicago but with Hossa being out I have to decide yet.

Well, in the past few seasons they played most of the games over but it's true then Kings had better clicking offense and Hawks were more stacked. I believe rested Hawks can score 3 tonight, with their speed and skill they should be able to penetrate Kings' defense. Not sure about Kings how much they can contribute here.

Just don't think this is a " gift" as the wanna be tout claims. Kings have played more structured since the Lucic move to Carter line. Plus Z not like during streak they beat all bad teams. Beat Minny,SJ, Winnipeg and Preds. All who most likely make playoffs

San Jose is hurting with injuries, check their record lately, I considered them a weaker opponent. Minny and Preds games were all close, two decided in OT which could have gone either way with 3 on 3 and vs Jets was even until final minutes, then Kings took the lead and scored 2 empty netters in the end. They even caught a break in Edmonton with the final second "Quick save" going in their favor. They've been scoring goals due to over-efficient powerplay and chemistry of 2nd line. Without support from the first line I don't think this can last. Chicago should be able to outscore them, so far they were a diferent team at home ice, a much better one than on the road.

Quick and Crawford have awful SV% facing eachother in the past few seasons as shaunovery has suggested under.

I think it will be a close game as well but all the lucky bounces can't go their way, Chicago is skilled enough to finish it properly in the end.

Out of the 3 game on the board, this is the only one I wouldn't touch, to close to call. I know dallas and Vancouver or about minus 150$, but that the way I would go.
I think tonight dallas at minus 1.5 and Tha canucks is the bet.

Kopitar is one of the best players in the league.

    His points will come eventually.

Why? Line looks spot on. Kings right now the better team (if you factor in no Keith and no Hossa -- that's two of Chicago's top 5 players) but slight home ice advantage. Close game. Tough call. Who do you like?

I'm staying away, huge reversal in favor of Kings. I thought it's because Hossa is out but he shouldn't move the line that much.

    think a combination of things

    Hosa out

    Other Hawks injuries

    People riding Kings streak

No, more people are on Hawks so the reversal is that more suspicious.
