Sorry if this shouldn't be in Players Talk, but wanted to throw the question out there. I've been a gambler for over 10 years now, and in the past two years have started to become "profitable" - I owe it to facing the hard facts of my betting "style." I bet way too many games (still need to get lower) and worked mainly on "hunches" or sporadic periods of betting - hot streaks followed by cold streaks followed by a hiatus, during which it seemed all games I liked, but did not bet, won.
So I developed a few "strategies" based off of line movements, previous games, juice (I.e. -115 vs -105) and when one strategy got hot, would ride it till it seemed to cool, and would look to see if another developed. If one didn't, I'd just go away for a few days/weeks. Anyhow, I know most guys like to bust balls when broke dik penetrate non-pros like myself thread, but I'm willing to track responses and try and come up with something we can all take advantage of, or at the very least maybe make a few extra bet points from. Please try your best to be honest, bc if you really do believe you're the best in the industry, then even if you aren't, you're on the right track. I'll start:
Best: identifying short term trends through line movements in 2nd half of CBB, CFB and NFL seasons
Worst: Sticking to max number of games to bet in given time frame
