Well I am not even backing the Cubs but the fact that it's pretty much a must win game, Cubs have the luxury of being back home in warmer weather. Most people believe the bats can't stay silent forever.

degrom doesnt like to pitch against the cubs..., bad road era, bad era vs the cubs. Hendricks faced the mets once this season and went 6ip 0 er... gotta ride him at home tonight...Cubs!

hendricks performance against muts happened very early and has little relevance imo, i do think the scrubbies win tho. degrom been very avg on road and all post season imo,. even in game 1 he weaseled his way out of a lot of trouble.

deGrom was 'average' in game 1 against LAD? Huh? 2 of the Dodgers hits were flyballs that any Mets OF besides Cuddyer handles. His lone walk was a free pass. His velocity was insane and he had total command of his secondary stuff. 13Ks and lefties went like 1-17 against him.

That was probably his best outing of the entire year.

Well if we are being fair here Hendricks faced a mets lineup without Cespedes, Conforto, Darnaud, and Wright so take that for what it is worth.

Ya, bringing up what happened months ago when the Mets were the worst in runs scored doesn't have much to do with anything. Back then the Mets were winning solely on pitching and lost every game to the Cubs who now have owned them thus far in the playoffs.
