College athletics behind the spike in college tuitions

How many times have we all heard those right-wing halfwits blame the government for the cost of tuition? how many times have we heard them blame "liberal professors and their bloated salaries"? have you ever heard these half-wits say that college sports is the biggest factor?

Doesn't Title 9 have to do with equal participation in college athletics?

guy is too stupid to interact with. he parrots whatever he hears on some right-wing hate-radio show like limbaugh or michael savage (aka michael weiner).

some outrageous shit right here! same thing happens at public high schools in places like texas -- as seen in movies like friday night lights.

i fast becoming "anti-football". between CTE (which i'm obv terrified of having), and what we're learning now, (that universities spends 7 times more per athlete than student), something needs to be done.

plus it's a huge penetrating distraction. everywhere you go everyone knows about football, or is talking about football, and they don't know penetrating shit about what's happening in the world or in their country.

were like the idiots sitting in the coliseum as rome crumbled.

It mandates equal resources to genders, so now if a college wants a football team they have to build softball stadiums and provide full rides and private dorms for field hockey players.

No, the government has nothing to do with the absurdity of higher education, money, and athletics - it's the fault of some "right wing" critic on the radio somewhere.

Scumbag's real name is Total Fukkin Loser, it's right there on his voter ID card.

that's the way it should be you penetrating moron. the clear answer is that public universities are places of learning, thus, should not spend student/tax payer money on Any sports.

i have more money than you - by your math - that makes me better than you in every way.

Wrong. Public universities have evolved into centers of indoctrination for lefty limpdikkers like yourself.

I won't bother asking you about football, I'm sure the wasteful subject depresses you.

i played football you drooler (6'4'' 260 and could easily rape you if we were in prison). i'm able to sit on my ass now because i've made a few hundred thousand dollars betting on it in the last several years. but i'm also intellectual enough to see some major problems with it.

your position on this issue mirrors your position on every other issue; it's simplistic!

Whilr your mom's basement is not technically a prison (you're free to come and go, though you have nowhere to go) you are held captive to misery.

So when you're not engaging in fantasy ("I'll prison rape you!") you throw everything you have (which is not much) into online socialist babble. I guess when mom kicks the bucket you think Hillary or Bernie or some other brand name socialist will clean up after you.

Give us a laugh, what college team did you play for?
