    Royals will win Game 1 Tonight

    I think the Royals will get off to a fast tonight and win this one by a few runs. David Price is up next and the Royals cannot afford to drop this game at home and face price in game 2 down 0-1 and heading back to Toronto for 3 games. That would not be a good sign at all. I can't see the Royals losing b2b at home and don't think they will beat price. The lineup will be patient tonight and take what Estrada gives. Not too comfortable with Volquez but it is what it is. Royals are the best offensive team in baseball and they will find a way to generate enough runs tonight to win. Just score a few and play great defense. There is no weakness in their lineup 1-9.

    Royals +105 Risk $300

    Royals -1.5 +190 Risk $50

    Royals(1st 5)/Royals(Game) +200 Risk $100

    On Toronto. Estrada is a better pitcher than Volquez, Volquez can get lit up some games, and this Blue Jays lineup is definitely one that can light him up. Toronto flying high last few games.

    I don't disagree that Estrada is better, but the Royals can definitely hit estrada and they will be patient and take a good amount of walks. Like I said this is a must win for the royals or I think they could be in a bit of trouble. I don't really put any stock into what's happened in last games or adrenaline or anything like that. Royals defense is good enough to pick up Volquez if he falters. I can't say the same about Toronto's d.

    i dont think price is as scary as people think. Hes never had a shutdown playoff game. The royals like their back against the wall, i could see them losing tonight but winning game 2

    You know Volquez is gonna pitch inside all game and spook the Toronto hitters.. He won't back off either with the home crowd and team behind him..

    I wouldn't be surprised if he nails a few of the Jays hitters actually.. Bench clearing brawl coming up I can't wait!!!!

    good point with backs against the wall. they do thrive on being on the brink of elimination. that's what makes a great team. you could be right. i think we're going to see a great royals team tonight though. they don't fear price, but they've seen him enough to know that he's dangerous. don't care what stats say. he's david price. just like i said i don't care what stats say about johnny cueto in gm 5 against houston. he's still johnny cueto.

    Sure and almost all of those runs came via the bats of Melky Cabrera and Colby Rasmus in 2014 when Volquez was on the Pirates.

    If this is the way you filter information to cap a game lord help you. I'm not sure who's gonna win tonight but I'm pretty sure that you're not a winning gambler.

    Would not surprise me in the least to see Royals win tonight...and it is likely because the Jays obviously cannot bring in a left-hander in relief....Had Cecil not been injured, The Royals in a likelyhood do not get a split........Those wishing to back the Jays should wait till tomorrow..as Price will destroy them...The Royals are not the Rangers..The series truly begins when they come back to Toronto...
