    If you count cards, can martingale (big bets), and are getting a discount on any losses, and change the rules of the game- well yeah you should be able to win at blackjack.

    I got more respect for the MIT card counting teams that do it strictly on the math, rather than a whale like this guy that simply has too much money and too many perks to lose

    Yeah, but you act like it was all just handed to him. He took a -EV game and MADE it +EV. He took the perks (others got the same perks but did nothing with them), negotiated the rule changes, and played it perfectly. Straight gangsta.

    Well maybe you failed to catch that he had some friends that were math behind him.

    Good friends are invaluable in life, his friends (math ones or whomever) probably broke it down for him and helped him gain a small edge that wasn't discussed on the video.

    He just had the funding to execute something like this whereas a guy like me isn't going to be getting favors ahead of time before I make it to vegas.

    I can imagine that phonecall now....um yes I would like $10 min $777 max limits....no hitting soft 17, double on any two, split it until we run out of the shoe if need be etc...oh and please strategically place a conservative yet attractive female at my table so I can act like I'm just lucky


    I have seen this video/documentary somewhere before but it is pretty awesome in my estimation. Guy won a ton playing blackjack.....I did it on sbr once
