They felt sorry for him. He needed a little pay. Will release him after preseason.

    No

Him passing accuracy is poor , in that system accuracy is very important that's why Bradford was brought in

This guy is an anomaly. He clearly lacks the accuracy and decision making ability to be a 3rd string quarterback for any NFL team. Tebow is good for jersey sales and attracting media attention and that's it. He appeals mostly to the uneducated Midwest and South crowd who appreciate his religiosity and moral clarity.

He was accurate and had good arm strength in that preseason game.

Good change of pace guy for redzone

    if they play him yes.

Lets not forget the last time he was a starter he took the Broncos to the playoffs almost singlehandedly and he won a playoff game...he only has 1 less playoff win than Tony Romo.

At the very least he should have remained the back up in Denver behind Peyton.

Rex Ryan totally fukked him over in NY.

But Imo that may be partly Tebows fault for signing with NY.

One Steelers bad defensive alignment in a playoff game has me wondering if there really is a God

maybe all the sick kids visited, babies kissed, cats pulled out of trees, addicts fellowshipped, etc......is the true plan

because this guy does not have the skill set to be a starting QB

there is no evidence of this oft repeated, regurgitated epithet.
there is, however, plenty of evidence that at least 25% of the starting
quarterbacks in the NFL do not have the skill set to be starting QBs.

If you can use a 3rd string QB for 2 point conversions or goal line situations, then YES! He makes the defense account for him on every play, it changes the entire offense. Right now you can't use a third string QB until the fourth quarter, if you do then the 1st two QB's cannot come back in the game. In that Chip Kelly offense you need a guy that can release the ball quick and be accurate, neither of which Tebow does well. If Sanchez was even remotely accurate that game on Sunday was 21-0 in the first quarter, open receivers on almost every play! I hope Bradford can stay healthy, that offense will be dangerous.

If Tebow makes the cut then either Sanchez or Barkley will be traded before the season. Buffalo needs a QB. Stay tuned!

You're correct, that career 48% completion rate must be on the receivers. He's a great QB - by 1971 standards.

Innovation nailed it! Guy does not have skill set to play in Nfl over long haul. Yeah yeah yada yada "all he does is win". But that's mostly b.s. and a smokescreen. Pretty much every gm he won in reg season was vs terrible teams and even worse backup QB's. Sorry but those circumstances allowed his defense to look better than they truly were and kept Denver in those tight games late they truly had no business being in despite Timmy playing 58 minutes of excruciating bad football.

Over long haul in reality unless you TRULY have a special 2000 Ravens or 85 Bears type defense you just cannot overcome all the 3/out drives and no scoring on offensive side to keep you in games late. You get down 20-3 with a guy like Tebow your basically fukked at that point. In reality he's a 4-12 type guy as a starter who's give you more headaches than highlights. Not to mention EVERY player and coach on his team has to adjust and play a different style to make up for ineptitude of what a QB truly should be.

Guys who are quarterbacks need to be focused on reading the defense and not on god.

I want my QB to be a professed atheist so they are not distracted.

It is why Arian Foster was so good.

As lucky as the playoff gave was vs Pitt, the Bears game that year was even worse.

Picture gimmick plays. Goal line, 2 point conversion, wildcat, etc. 1-3 snaps a game.

chip kelly thinks he is still coaching college football...gimmicks like tebow might work a play or two but over the long run will just result in losses and confusion for his own team. After Bradford gets injured early in the season, there is going to be a big debate over who starts with sanchez vs. tebow. In the end, it won't matter as neither should be in the NFL.
