Thereafter, if a game is canceled or suspended the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning of play. If the home team scores to tie or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, the winner is then determined by the score at the time the game is canceled.

    It is the standard Vegas rule. If game is suspended, Mets win 7-5 for betting purposes on ML and Totals/RLs are refunds.

    Wow! On the pads too! Left for work when the first delay started and got to work to see up 8-7 but the game still in a delay! Pads travel to Miami and New York stays home, got to feel that they have a lot of time to get this in. But would be a shame if it doesnt resume!

    They absolutely will finish this one since they don't play again. Baseball requires it to be finished due to that home run. They could have called it after the Kemp single and it's a complete game, but now they have a real logistical situation on there hand.

    (a) A game shall become a suspended game that must be completed at a future date if the game is terminated for any of the following reasons:

    Weather, if a regulation game is called while an inning is in progress and before the inning is completed, and the visiting team has scored one or more runs to take the lead, and the home team has not retaken the lead
