“I’m not even thinking about my knee,” Palmer said, via the team’s website. “I’m still rehabbing just to be on the safe side of things but I don’t need to be at rehab. I’m full go in the weight room, full go on the field, and until it’s brought up, I haven’t thought about what I’m not doing because I’m doing everything I was doing.”
The Cardinals offense struggled to score points after Palmer went down last season, averaging under 13 points a game over the final seven weeks of the season. The team went 3-4 in those games, which was good enough for an 11-5 record and a playoff spot while also conjuring up thoughts of what might have been with a healthy Palmer in the lineup all season. The Cardinals hope to find out the answer this year.
