The king is playing to his best on grass again, his movement on the surface is sublime, his service game is top notch chusty. It's not rocket science here chaps, the only guy who can beat him on this form was Rafael Nadal at his peak

Novak has great defense, Rafa beat Feds in the final when he had the Roland Garros streak that kind of the form the best ever defense and competitiveness we will ever see in this sport from the Spaniard, Novak can't match that you know it I know it, Feds is on that form again, no one can stop him winning his 8th title.

About time Roger faces a man instead of the boys he faced last rounds. This is like Michael Jordan faces Lebron James. No one can beat Lebron at his prime.

They're the best returners in tennis right now, Federer's serve is definitely better than Joker's, but Djoković dominates him post-serve.
On top of that, FedEx is much more prone to make unforced errors than Joker.
I'm a fan of RF and I'd like to see him win one more time in Wimbledon, but his margin of error should be really low against Djoko. I can't see that coming though.
GL, I'll be rooting for Federer to win this 1 although the odds are against him.

I just don't get it. I really don't... if you were always going to ejaculate to Federror @ 2.1 against Djokovic in the final, WHY IN THE HOLY MOTHER OF F*CK NOT JUST BET ON HIM @ 15 BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT STARTED IF DJOKOVIC IS @ 2.75!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?

^ because Fed could've lost to Murray, Berd, or Nadal with that draw whereas Nole was chalk in every single match and would've only been a threat to lose if Wawrinka made it through. $15 would have definitely been nice pre-tournament tho.

i thought this match would be a coin toss but am surprised that the odds actually suggested it as well especially with Nole being @1.5 last year. Nole is a mental midget in finals and his slam finals record accurately reflects that. almost a lock that he will at some point allow fed back into the match just wen he looks like he is in control and on the verge of winning.

he hired becker with that being one of the main reasons yet his finals record in slams hav gotten worse with him

That doesn't answer the (rhetorical) question in a satisfying way, even so. Federror at these odds is an absolute travesty.

Note this match now might be played indoors with rain scheduled the whole day.

I can hear Novak fans crying right now.

They would be crying due to ignorance then. The closed roof favors Djokobo.

Could you elaborate on this more? i've always read that Federer has a spectacular record when the roof is closed, most memorably in the 2012 Wimbledon final against Murray.

I'm basing it on the fact that the court plays more slowly with the roof closed. No wind only helps Djokovic as well...

That's a fair point. I'm just quite perplexed by the line and the reactions to it.

Court plays more slowly but ball bounces lower as well which would help Fed in his slices. That being said these are probably the two best indoor court players in the game right now so probably little advantage either way.

I feel tempted to lay half a unit on Fed at 3-1 and a full unit at over on # of games leaving an opportunity to hit both as I dont see Fed winning in straight sets and a five setter naturally favors Joker.

Djokovic is far better indoors than he is on grass in general, IMO. The opposite is true for Federror, to some extent.

It's f*cking unbelievable you aren't the slightest curious at the line...

I hope fed serves first Andy got himself in stupid position winning and wanting to receive, you don't want to be serving down 5-4 or 6-5 and serving first is huge in 5th

just looks the type of match where federer has to serve 85 percent 1st serves if he is going to win
