The schedule looks sorta tough. Division games (MIN,DET,GB) 2-4 maybe? NFC West (SF,STL,AZ,SEA) 1-3 might be optimistic. AFC West (OAK,SD,KC,DEN) I could see a 2-2 split there, especially with Fox's familiarity with the division. Lastly TB & WAS should be easy wins, 2-0. That's off the cuff, but that makes 7-9 as a crude first glance.

Some dangerous things about CHI is the Fox factor, the guy is a crafty veteran defensive coach who should flip the defense back to being at least respectable. Then the offense certainly has the weapons, if Cutler can just play to his potential for one solid year, this team could easily go 8-8 or maybe even grab a wild card spot.

Not quite sure what to think of the Bears myself. John Fox did take the Broncos and Panthers to the Super Bowl so I guess he knows how to win.

6-7 wins would be considered a "good" season for this team.

Consensus team total is closer to 6 than 7. BOL and Sortsbetting has O6.5+110/U6.5-140.

Depends on the number. I'd take Bears O6.0-110. I think they win somewhere between 6 and 8. At even money both ways, I'd take O at 6 but U at 7.

Fox won a playoff game with Tebow at QB. He went to a Super Bowl with Delhomme. What will he do with Cutler?

Cutler's not the issue. People still seem to forget that Cutler has won as a starter quite a few more games than he lost. The lack of talent and depth on defense, in a new system, is the potential problem. And then all the WR injuries could impact Cutler too. But the Panthers with Delhomme had a dynamite defense.

I got them at 8-8. You see Vikes a 4 win team? Highly doubt it.
