    Twister answer carefully

    Giant is a poker pro

I played with him once, just about 10 hands and he diagnosed me as a loose passive player, right after he busted me out

It hurt my feelings and I never played online again. I didnt even know there were different labels for types of play before he labeled me

    He'll take your money

Kraken, I believe sourtwist was dealing with some insecurities about being a non-pro. Why else would he mention the stakes he plays? It was so random.

Explain to him being a non-pro isn't a big deal.

I consider you a friend even though you're a non-pro, Kraken. Just not a.....good friend.

Giant, I have been playing online for a long time. There's only a couple sites left for US players, as you know. I play on a few skins of winning poker network. BCP, and a couple sportsbooks. Bovada and full flush when I'm in the mood for something different. Not giving you any screen names.

Kraken is a guy who I like a lot, even though we probably wouldn't ever agree on much of anything.... Giant, not so much

Yeah, it's part of the reason I like Bovada.

    I like the anonymity.

There's a 3rd type. Those who aren't living in the USA and don't have to pay a penny to go Pro. All we have to do is make a deposit into a book for whatever amount you guys have to donate.

Good things here to ponder all around. It's easy to get caught up and think you are a Pro or something when in reality you are a toilet bug.

To answer Twisters question I dont fit into either but more of krakens ideas.

Oh and Im out till the 4th.

I went pro mostly for the poker. I had a 2 week stretch I cashed in 8 of 10 tournaments and came in second on a Saturday. Then I got a Mac and shortly after the tournament structures changed.

    Also, I like pizza.

Everyone aways has an excuse ready when it comes to going PRO.
    I've heard them all.
At least Twister doesn't waste our time a bunch of bull

    I admire his blatant cheapness.
And commend him on his frugal attitude!

I use cash to play poker and bet on sports. I don't bet big money on sports.

The way I look at it: It's $100 for a whole year. I'm going to renew in about 2 weeks and I'll have enough points saved up to get $100 in gift cards. Even Steven.

I don't bash non-pros; I just don't understand their thinking. Especially those that average about 17 posts a day. You like the site obviously; spend the hundy, get the 12 pts a day and get involved in the contests ffs.
