+9 = Game of the century.

+8.5 = Game of the year.

This game will be a dogfight.

So you're gonna ride Golden State early but as soon as they are about to take control of the series you switch to the Cavs?

I guess Cleveland will go into the big man a lot which was very effective it's just that nobody else could hit any baskets

Some think that strategy can work I don't

Hard not to bite when they dominate a home team by 20

Cavs will keep it close. A couple extra days rest, a lot of success in Oakland in Games 1 & 2, Lebron will not have 2 subpar games in a row. It'll be a dogfight - I'll take the 9 happily!

game 5 line is moving in cleveland's favour yet the series price is moving in golden state's favour...

    makes no sense.

Makes sense. It only means GSW are likely to win the series irrespective of their sequence of wins. The line movement in favor of CLE only pertains to game 5.

Hmm, makes sense to me. 9 is too many points for game 5, but the Warriors are playing 2 of the 3 games at home coming off a 20 point road victory. The media is now also really amplifying the fatigue factor for the series and Clev's lack of depth.

You guys overreact too much to each game. Cavs keep it close again, last game not happening again. Further post to come. Signing off

The ml moved down too. It seems to me if books are making it less likely the Warriors win game 5 it should also be less likely for them to win the series. The correlation is never perfect though.

Just banking on the media to say Cleveland is tired physically now... hopefully get the public on G.S. Refs can always keep the games close. James didn't get any calls last night. I think that was intentionally done. He'll get the calls Game 5. Miss or make... doesn't matter... Get a few Cleveland players to the free throw line... stops the flow of the game. Gives Cleveland a chance for some air. Cleveland has to cover this. Just my opinion.

PT Barnum/Vince-McMahon story-arc analysis, which assumes the purpose of each bettable, televised event (which the cattle-consumers call "games") is to generate optimal marketable bullshit (esp. but in no way limited to drama, controversy) says the next two games split...and--surprise, surprise--everything comes down to a fan-boy's wet dream...i'll sit out the next two games and keep my ear to the ground for "demographic spin" clues to tip the company's hand re:

the King re-asserts his dynasty (Lebron fanboys squirt as CLE wins) vs.

the changing of the guard (Steph fanboys squirt as GSW wins)

    __________

the company will max profit by having a 7-gamer...all departments (teams) of the company (league) will be adequately compensated via internal re-distributions (eg. Spurs taking one for the league's story-line 2 years ago were jobbed the title last year)...so weep not for any of the company's paid performers, and especially for their officials that steer the desired results with just the right amount of fishy smell...to keep the fanboys arguing till next year...but never wising up to the fact that it's a product they're consuming...not a sport that's actually being contested

at least WWE is entertaining...NBA is ridiculously-interrupted flopping around in pajamas with orchestrated bullshit endings...

you want to watch an actual highly-competitive playoff game, where the results are actually determined by player's performance (and not contrived story-arc horseshit delivered by zebra-employees)...watch tomorrow night's Chicago-Tampa game (no quotation marks necessary)...go Bolts!

only two major N.American team-sports are NOT YET totally WWE-fukt by way of choking in its own (intentionally-engineered to be impossible to apply) officiating vomit...are Hockey and Baseball (and baseball is travelling down that road...)

NBA and NFL are fully-bettable, highly-marketed, entertainment products...the purpose of which is to generate drama/controversy/whatever else is necessary to keep consumers arguing and betting and buying tickets

Hockey and Baseball are still sports to be contested/Basketball and Football are entertainment products to be passionately consumed (if you doubt me, consider this for example: has football not now turned into a contest to "milk more undeserved PI-calls of both varieties from the officials .than your competitor...bullshit flags are not a bad part of the game now...they ARE the game...the goal of which is to create controversy and piss you off, while you keep arguing about but keep consuming the "product")

    __________

that's the red-pill...if you don't want to swallow it, take the blue pill and continue discussing NBA and NFL as before...forget my last two posts...carry on as before...
