Djokovic is playing on a different level right now. Nadal has been struggling for quite some time, sure he showed some signs of his usual self against Sock, but then again it was Sock.

The concern with Djokovic: this isn't dissimilar to the final last year. Djokovic clearly better form, Nadal struggling badly in the clay masters beforehand (he won one, but only because Nishikori got injured when beating him). Despite that, Djokovic blew his chance.
Same thing in 2011 - Djokovic had just gone "gluten-free" (worse ever euphemism for juicing). He hadn't lost a match coming into the French, beating Nadal in Indian Wells/Miami, and more importantly on clay in Madrid and Rome ...... in straight sets too. Yet he gets to the semi, and randomly loses to Federer - just didn't turn up at all.
The bookies/market assumption seems to be that Djokovic is playing much better than last year, but I'm not sure that's really true. Both look in a fairly similar situation to my eye - yet last year Nadal was a very small favourite.Last edited by HeeeHAWWWW; 06-02-15 at 05:05 AM.

Djokovic isn't better than last year IMO, and he is quite the far way away from his peak of a few years past. Nadal is worse than last year however, even though he's clearly been playing a lot better this tournament (MIND = BLOWN)...
