    In 2 more weeks I will officially

    be retired from the teaching profession after 35 yrs. Now I will be fixing up my house, putting it on the market and moving to Vegas. No more bosses, students, in-services, evaluations, paperwork etc.

    Currently living 30 mins. south of Dallas.
    Will be receiving a monthly check of $3500.
    JJ-will not be a disaster. Have been to Vegas so many times that it"s like my second home. Been gambling offshore almost everyday since the ESB days.

    Wish you best of luck. Stay the course with your wagers and hopefully you can get a few vacations paid for by the books! $3500 a month - that include a ss draw or not yet? What is real estate like out there? Know they got crushed a few years back - still good deals?

    $3500 is after taxes taken out and health insurance paid for. Will receive $130/ month from ss in 2 years when I turn 62. Not sure what the real estate is in Vegas.

    You'll not be spending much time in sports books as there is no need to because most properties have phone betting applications that it's so much easier

    The atmosphere in the sports books gets old very quickly if you live here and you will see… Most people end up not staying in Vegas more than three years

    congrats ed, i will have my teaching certificate next year, i have been an aid for a few months, it pays bad but i enjoy working with the kids
