Only guarantees in life are death/taxes but this is up there. If and when needed in crucial moments the league's goons will tilt gm Cavs way however possible. See gm 6 '02 Lakers/Kings when L.A. was gonna lose that series for one of the most obvious rape jobs ever. Atl making finals is league's and thier bosses (networks) worst nightmare and not likely.
In all fairness let's not act like this is same Hawks team either that had amazing 1h run. They have been a .500 club since with nothing on current playoff resume to be given any big props for.

Why lay -210 on the series when you can just bet Cavs +2 in game 1 and then make up the difference with a better series price should they lose game 1 and the series is Pick.
Why? Because why should anyone want to increase their exposure by over 50% for 1 game if you truly like them for the series.
Using your flawed methodology, let's say I want to win $1000 on the series. At -210, I have to risk $2100 to make the 1k. If I bet them instead on game 1 +2 at 1100/1000 instead, and they lose, and lets say for arguments sake your series price of pk is the new series line, I have to risk another $2100 to make my original target of 1k profit to make up for the $1100 I lost, and now, I'm looking at risking $3200 to make that $1000 instead of $2100. There's always the chance they lose by 1 or 2, and I can increase equity, but that's a slim chance which is not worth the added exposure risk which I'd be better off getting direct odds for the Hawks to win by 1-3.
