I disagree. The league has gotten a lot more physical the last few years compared to the 10 before that.

Warriors - Hawks will be the highest rated final since Bulls won it 1996. You have two teams that no one predicted will do anything this year. That's why all the NBA experts hate it. They don't like being wrong.

Golden state was picked by most media and fans to finish top 2 or 3 in the west this yr. They're no surprise. Hawks wouldn't do anywhere near the ratings the cabs would and its because of #23

In the east cavs are banged up and shorthanded, it is unlikely that they will knock out the hawks in a 7 games series without homecourt advantage. In the west warriors have better record against both the rockets and clippers, and home court advantage, they are most likely to advance to the finals. So chances are you are going to see a GSW vs ATL finals, and it's the ultimate showdown of talent basketball agaisnt discipline basketball, you won't be let down.

It's shaping up to be one of the better NBA finals with two different style teams and Golden State on the verge of a one of the better NBA champions in the last 15 years as Curry could be top three most dominant playoff performers of all times

Better team doesn't always win best of 7 series but 98% of time they do.

2013 heat shouldve lost to spurs. Spurs were better. Just because cavs might win doesn't mean they're better

Just another way to cut into lebrons success of they win. Assuming OP is a lebron hater. I can think of a bunch of bad champs inclusing houston teams that won only because jordan was gone

I absolutely love lebron. If they beat GS it will be due to injury or some other type of luck. The cavs are not a great team. Lebron is carrying them

GS dominant. Cavs beating horrific east. Since best team doesn't win 100% of time we have to wait and see. GS could get an injury.

Toler nice call on clips over hou

Best team don't always win because the league is split into two conferences not because of anything you said. If Cavs beat GS over a 7 game series I'm willing to say Cleveland is better.

Does anyone honestly believe hou is better than the clips? No they caught lightning in a bottle 4th qtr of gm 6. That's it.

2013 spurs were better than the heat. Heat caught lightning gm 5 or 6 and ray allen hit the 3.

I'll take it to my grave that spurs were better that year.

If cavs win it'll be lucky. They are not that good

So injuries or lucky buzzer beaters have nothing to do with helping weaker team beat better team in a best of 7? Really man. You're arguing w 30 yrs of sports watching here

Banged up cavs steamrolled bulls and hawks. Weak east. Answer the question was 2013 heat better than spurs? Was 2015 hou better than clips?

Define better. It's subjective to a point, not just black and white. Coaching involved, gameplans and counter gameplans, refereeing, all these things and more matter. Clips don't matter we are talking NBA champs not 2nd round matchups. You can say Houston caught lightning in a bottle, but choking is a facet of the game, its an attribute of a team/players so that's a reflection on how good or not good a team is. Were the 2003 Magic better than the Pistons when they led 3-1 only to lose the next 3 by double digits, I'd say no, but they were one game away from advancing also.

so homie makes excuses for other teams, like if the warriors were to have an injury, yet he ignores the cavs injuries.

cavs have had more significant injuries this year than any of the 16 playoff teams. varejo, love both out for the year. irving injured and banged up too

Hawks played all postseason w/out sefalocia or however the hell u spell his name. He was maybe their best d player. Then carroll hurt. Now Korver hurt. All when it counts the most. Hou missing 2 key backcourt players all postseason. Other teams having issues too bro

Homie, you can drivel all the fukking bullshit you want but the bottomline is that Gol St is one of the better teams the NBA has seen in the last 30 years. Just because they shoot a lot of 3s you make the assumption that they live by the 3 when in actuality nothing can be farther from the truth. They are a great team from top to bottom period.

The NBA is the only sport where generally the best team does win it all, again because there are two conferences the two best can cross one another out.

Incorrect. Last night on the espn nba tonight show they were already discussing a metric to measure a teams dominance in reg and postseason.

    1. Bulls 1996
    2. Bulls 1997
    3. Celtics 1988
    4. Golden st 2015

That's a joke to me considering the rules changes, no Lakers teams? If this was 80's Curry would already be hurt by now, wouldn't be allowed to waltz to a chip like he's doing. Not sure its totally fair to compare teams over different spans and rule changes, I don't know.
