    If you aren't cheating...you aren't trying.

    Lol

Cheating = major punishment. NFL's main focus is to preserve the integrity of the game. NFL CBA authorizes the commish to discipline, impose fines, and deal suspensions to players for putting the integrity of the game at risk.

Lying = being a dick. Just admit it and he would've gotten a slap on the wrist, but they pissed off Gooddell and the NFL when Tom played the white knight act and said he didn't know anything about anything, and Kraft demanded an apology from NFL if they were found innocent.

Put it this way, "If you lay down with dogs, you wake up with fleas.". Put Brady on another team and he's clean.

Why does the NFL allow for so many more loop holes in their rules? Why not follow what the NBA or PGA does when it comes to regulating equipment?

Does any of this even happen if this is Carson Palmer or Alex Smith?

If they played for the Pats and this all happened, they'd get implicated somehow.

A lot of blame is on the refs and process in general. They need those balls locked up until kickoff now.

If a $25000 fine is the cost of
doing business in the NFL, I think he'd gladly pay every year. Even if he was fined $25000 per game he'd never feel it!
