Let me know how you think 5Dimes handled this situation. I don't place bets very often but on 4/18 I decided to check the odds for potential NBA Finals matchups. I was excited to see that Hawks v. Rockets line was +70,000, which seemed high but I placed a $50 bet that would win $35K. Both teams haven't done much in the playoffs so I thought that was why the odds were at that mark. Please keep in mind I legit did not think this was a mistake when I placed my bet.

Fast forward to yesterday, 4/20. I go back on 5Dimes and check the odds again. I see that Hawks v. Rockets is at +5050. At this point I'm realizing that there must have been an error with the line on my previous bet. I go onto their chat service and explain my situation. After a few minutes it's becoming clear that the line I took was a mistake so they were voiding it immediately (the correct line was supposed to be +7000). I was a little disappointed but understood that there was nothing I could do about it.

Now I will post my second chat experience that took place about 1 hour after the one in which I brought the bad line to 5Dimes' attention. I was hoping to keep the $50 bet I made at the correct line +7000. It had dropped to +5050 so I wanted to get credit for the +7000 line.

I did not think that it was a mistake when I first made the bet, you can call me an idiot but I thought it as legit. 2 DAYS LATER I saw that the odds were drastically different so I CONTACTED THEM.

This was not me "taking a shot" at a bad line, it was me making a bet and then realizing it must have been a bad line.

The example you stated, me winning and jumping up and down is EXACTLY WHY I CONTACTED 5DIMES. I knew I wouldn't get the money if it was a bad line. So, by being PROACTIVE and not TAKING NO FOR AN ANSWER I was able to secure the proper line at that time of +7000. Which I believe to be fair in this situation.

If I end up winning I saved myself $3500 because I know I would have been told to fukk off if I never questioned the +70,000 line and won my bet.
