Has a #1 seed (without a major injury) ever been 18/1?

Bulls at 20-1. They play good defense and this is Rose's chance at redemption. They could beat the Cavs but would need luck against the West. Atlanta might lose in the first round, pretenders of the East.

how about just a sleeper pick to win a series that is not a 4-5 matchup? That would be more realistic and more profitable.

Teams with no experience don't just win NBA championships out of nowhere. This isn't MLB. Any team that has no postseason experience has zero chance of winning it all. Zero.

    I would go with either:

    - new jersey nets
    - vancouver grizzlies
    - Washington bullets

    Experience is overrated.

The Celtics have no chance in hell but its not b/c of a lack of experience. Its because they are just an awful basketball team with no talent whatsoever.

I think I'll go with the Bulls at 14-1, especially if they finish in third. They don't matchup as well with the Wizards.

Bulls are now 12-1, but Atlanta at 12-1 might be a better bet.

Really? Then please tell me the last team with no playoff experience to win an NBA title or even a Conference title. I'll be waiting

Agreed, and as a fan of an Eastern Conference team currently winning its 2nd round series, I gotta tell you even if the Cavs made it to ECF, LeBron doesn't scare me nearly as much as he used to. As in not really at all. Maybe I'm on one but I have a feeling this perception of his stranglehold over the NBA head and shoulders over the rest is really done after this year.
