    Seeing Rumors Of Sam Bradford-Johnny Manziel Trade

    According to a source very close to an agent involved in the trade talks, the Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles have engaged in multiple discussions to send Browns QB Johnny Manziel, who is currently in rehab, and draft picks, to the Eagles in exchange for Eagles QB Sam Bradford, who was recently acquired via trade from the St. Louis Rams. According to our source, both sides are very motivated to get a deal done, with each side valuing the other’s QB more than the QB currently on their rosters.

    The Eagles allegedly want to move up into the top two to four picks in the NFL Draft, but need the Browns No. 1 pick to be part of the deal.

    The deal is apparently needs to move past two hurdles:

    Bradford needs to commit to the Browns for more than one season
    The Browns are only willing to offer the Eagles their second round pick.
    With less than a month till the 2015 NFL Draft the Eagles-Mariota rumors continue to entertain.

    Only posted this because I saw it on multiple sites. Who knows if this has legs or not, but it sure is fun to talk about. Manziel does need a change of scenery, and this could potentially give the Eagles more ammo to get Mariota.

    Had to think Chip had more moves planned. Bradford having multiple ACL surgeries isn't the best candidate to run the uptempo offense he wants

    From what I have read, the Browns wanted to trade for Bradford before, but he refused to sign an extension. He was willing to sign one with the Eagles. Seems far fetched that it could happen, but I put nothing past Chip Kelly this year.

    If Chip trades for Manziel, he's full blown lost it. At least Foles for Bradford was a sideways move. Manziel is a disaster.

    This is all about draft picks - names don't matter as Eagles don't plan on having either Bradford or Manziel anywhere near the starting lineup and likely not even on the roster

    More conspiracies running wild. They have DeMarco Murray and Byron Maxwell jerseys in their Eagle team-owned stores, but no Sam Bradford jerseys. The stores have not heard any word on when they will ever receive any.
