    How, exactly, would you hedge out? They could make it to the Final Four, true, but they'd be a big underdog against either Duke or Gonzaga before even entertaining the idea of reaching the championship game. It's not like you could hedge with a ML bet.

    To be honest, +1200 is not a good number at all given this team's limitations. I'd say +2000 is about where it should be. This group has advanced on Izzo's toughness and tournament genius alone. Not one of his more talented teams to put it mildly.

    MSU will struggle to beat Oklahoma. Not saying they couldn't do it, and if so, I think they reach the Final Four, but OU is a tough matchup for them.

    If you like MSU to win it all, which is crazy talk, you would be much smarter taking them ML the next two games rather than hope they get to the Final Four so you can hedge.

    There won't be much of a hedging opportunity against Duke or Gonzaga.

    I agree with coin, +1200 is bad odds for this Sparty team, I'd want at least +2000.

    If not for Izzo this team probably wouldn't be in the tournament. I still don't get how they keep winning with such little talent. It's pretty simple, stop Trice and force someone else to make a play.

    Gonzaga would be -4 minimum.

    MSU was +8 on a neutral court vs. Duke in December. Lost by 10. No way they'd only be +4.5 this time around.
