Who get the West's 8th seed? Pelicans or Thunder?

Thunder is falling apart at the seams. Pelicans hold the head to head advantage.

Pelicans although Durant should be back soon

I think they would of gotten at least 6th seed with him

Thunder really need to miss the playoffs and get in the lottery now. No way can they beat any of the top teams in the west this year.

If Pelicans win out they win the division. Both teams have 34 losses and Pelicans hold the tiebreaker. Interesting.

OKC at Indiana wont be easy, many seem to be chalking that up as an easy OKC win. Indiana is above .500 at home and recently won 10 of 11 games... the also play good teams tough and are healthy now after a stretch of injury riddled play. NO is hot right now, won 4 straight, and own the tie breaker... this is gonna come down to the last game or two, should be exciting.

For pelicans, Portland should be letdown game tonight, golden state has no reason to do anything but try to stay healthy, and the spurs might rest the equipment managers the last game of the season. Add in Minnesota and Phoenix as wins, and that gives pelicans 4-5 more wins

Golden State hasnt been letting up one bit, I have been expecting them to but they aren't. And 2-6 seeds in the West are all close, and I dont see any of those teams letting up with homecourt on the line.

Do you really think golden state will play as hard as the pelicans with everything locked up in the west all the way through the finals. They already should be sitting Bogut before he tears a hangnail.

OKC has too many injuries. I'm not going to be surprised of the Pelicans get the 8th seed.

The Thunder will play the Spurs before they rest Eveyone and he Pelicans get them at the very end of the year when Pop will rest everyone.

OKC looked spent last night except for Kanter. No way does Westbrook survive a first round playoff series. The Thunder really need to lose out and get in the lottery before anyone else gets hurt this year. Start fresh next year.

Close. The Thunder could ONLY survive a first round series. What better to win against the top seed but any team after that could handle them, Spurs-Clippers-Rockets-Blazers

The Thunder are not good(healthy)enough or well coached enough to beat any of the teams above them in the standings. I would take the Pelicans in a 7 game series against the Thunder

Golden State might be letting up a bit tonight. Even more probably Tuesday night against the Pelicans. Warriors have nothing to play for. Nothing.

OKC is probably winning against the Kings, Pacers, Wolves, but I'm not sure about Portland.
NO is probably winning against Suns and Wolves, maybe Memphis, but that's pretty much it.

    OKC takes the 8th seed.

I honestly think taking the Pacers at 150 to 1 to win the East is a good bet if you have the intentions of hedging if they make the East finals. Atlanta is a mess rightnow, they are injured and have been doing the rest thing for weeks now and it is just killling that team. They are nowhere near the team that went 35-6 or whatever to start the year. Toughest part for Indiana might be making the playoffs, and doing it without getting the 7 seed

Knowing the scripted NBA it will come down to the final game.
