How did the Committee do this year?
Certain seeding aside, I feel like they did a much better job than last year as far as who made the cut. Its sort of difficult to make a case that any team that got snubbed really deserved to be in.
Not sure I like the fact that the hoosiers are going. I feel like there are a few teams that deserved it more.
Worst snubs, in my opinion, were Temple, A&M, Rhode Island, Vanderbilt and Richmond.

Awarding Duke a number 1 when they didn't win the regular season or conference tourney makes it feel like the USOC, a wrestling script or Ms America pageant. Why even play the damned games if that is the case?
You have to stop after the 2nd bong load, they never do that.
After looking into it a bit more, the duke seeding is obviously horrendous.
Utah being a 5 is a fukking joke.
Buckeyes ten seed too high.
Maryland a 4?!
Committee honestly believes they are a top 16 team in the country?

I feel your putting too much weight in wins against inferior competition.
Colorado state may be a bit of a snub, but they never really showed up against good teams and played a garbage OOC schedule.
i still say no snubs this year because the bubble was so bad they needed 68 teams thats why some teams are in there, my biggest complaint is them putting ucla indiana texas safely in the tournament (avoiding the play in games)
One of their better years without question. Can never hit this perfect anyway as the first few out will always have at least a half-assed argument on why they should be in. My 2cents: Texas UCLA OkSt Georgia very lucky to be in this while Murray St, Temple and Col St to name a few are out.
I say it every year and I repeat now: Start finding teams with 24/25 wins or more in ANY conference and let them play based on the last time they appeared in Tournament. Hey you got your Top25 in already right? So let the alums and townfolk of these little schools live it up occasionally. Why should all of these #6 and #7 seeds from "Power" conferences get in over teams that have not been in it for 30 years? The last 12 in arguably have no right at title anyway so let some of these seldom seen schools in FFS!

The committee is really into setting up certain matchups now versus the best teams getting in. Duke not only has a 1 seed, but also a very easy bracket and road to Indy. Just a shame. Duke should just fly to Indy now and avoid the opportunity to lose.
duke has zags as there 2 who proved they were dead even with zona in zona. they obviously play in shit conf so the resume doesnt warrant it but zags as legit a 1 as zona. id have loved to get zags/zona final 4 too.. i dont think there much difference in where i rate zona/wiscy/zags and not sure how there can be cause the zona better than zags argument is basically the same argument that holds up for duke against zona as duke has at least triple the big time wins zona has, zona got the zags (at home), and swept utes who gave them everything they wanted. who committee feels is a 5 seed (kp loves utes but i think we both agree they part of the reason dukes path to zags is easy). who the fukk knows who zona playing to get to elite 8? baylor? they could be gone, xavier? they might lose to play in team. dude zona has a straight up cakewalk to elite 8 dont you think? there second gm a little tougher but you really think zona isnt running thru osu or vcu? those are both laughers, those guys would do a number on osu's fresh pg and prob wouldnt allow 50. vcu they would score 100. it pretty fair if you ignore the number you all hung up on..
you wanna get real boise and dayton got far more screwed. there at least 4 power conf scrubs that have proved nothing i dont think should even be in with their pathetic resumes. we wouldnt need this play in gm if they had the balls to put proven mid majors in over these scrubs.. that the real injustice that a team like dayton with a very good resume get shoved in this play in gm, a team that not deep and was gassed by opening tip today. who cares bout 1-2 when they all have roads we agree should lead them directly to the right to play each other for chance at final 4..

UCLA being in is a joke. The committee chair said they got in on "eye test". Notice how "eye test" only applies to major conference/name brand teams. Why didn't the "eye test" apply to Murray State?
Basically "eye test" = Getting teams in the NCAA tournament who will generate more TV viewers and ticket sales
Lots of issues with the bracket.......but I think one of the biggest injustices is making Boise St travel the country to play the play-in game vs Dayton on their home court. That's just straight cruel.
And even more, how did Dayton not avoid this game? Crazy!

If Miami took care of business against some very winnable games on their schedule, they would have been likely a 5 or 6 seed. All of their great wins, were overlooked by their horrendous losses. You can't lose at home by 13 to Green Bay, by 28 at home to Eastern Kentucky and by 20 at home to G-Tech, and expect to make the dance.
