A-Rod hitting .442 in Spring Training???

I think thats what I just heard.

    Good for him.

Anybody think he can hit .300 this year and hit 30 HR's?

I heard the talking heads on MLB network projecting .260 batting average and 12 HR's but maybe that is bc they hate him.

If he has his juice cycle correct, he can contend for MVP.

    Rooting for ARod.

Mostly because of how comically hard MLB was on him and not the Ryan Brauns of the world.

Hope he OPS's .825 and Yankees lose in ALDS.

When he met with Bonds do you think they were discussing "hitting?" Bonds was giving him an update on PEDs that still aren't tested for.

My question is: Why did he keep using roids after getting a 10 year contract that ends when he is 42?

i hope he wins MVP and the media has no choice to but to talk about him.

I actually like the Yankees now that Jeter is gone.

my 4 least favorite players of all time are Derek Jeter, Chipper Jones, Jose Cancesco, and Curt Schilling.

A Rod could ride the pine all season and the media would write about it. He hits above the Mendoza line and you'll make weekly threads about it. I look forward to each and every one.

not really honestly i am not a fan of A-Rod or any other player.

i learned a long time ago you can NOT be both a sports gambler and a fan too.

I am only a fan of the players who can win bets for me plain and simple.

now ofcourse there are players who i don't like for whatever reason.

and there are players who i appreciate their greatness and i enjoy watching them.

    but i am no fan.

The last player i can honestly say I was a fan of is Barry Bonds. Since he retired its been strictly business for me. I used to be a SF Giants fan when he played but now i absolutely hate the Giants. I can't stand people who are not loyal in life and the way the Giants threw him under the bus and took down his banners in Left Field was just plain wrong. Its not a "just world we live in" the Giants absolutely did not deserve to win 3 world series in the last 6 years. Its a fukked up world we live in where evil people succeed and the good ones die young.

They sure didnt have a problem with Bonds hitting all those HR's but as soon as allegations came out they were not loyal to him.

Guy was paid a little under 200 million in his career. Yeah, they weren't loyal. Boo-fukn-hoo. It's a business, not little league.

    false premise?

that piece of shit Adrian Peterson will probably get to play in the NFL again after beating his 2 year old son.

    Ray Lewis murdered 2 people.

That other guy ran over a pedestrian while drunk driving and got to keep playing.

    Ben Roethlisberger raped a woman.

Ray Rice punched his fiance in the face and he will get to play again too.

Greg Hardy beat his girlfriend and threw her on top of a couch that had several assault rifles on it

Yes, one has nothing to do with the other. Whether one "get's to keep playing" or not is irrelevant. It's a job; if not bound by the law then they have every right to pursue said job. Whether a team wants them is another story. In the same circumstance, if you were good enough at your profession the same would hold true. Nothing new here, people will overlook past issues if you can make them a buck. In any profession. And stop with the Ray Lewis nonsense, he was never accused/arrested/convicted of murdering anyone.

    agree to disagree.

it doesnt even matter what you or I think.

It just bothers me when people are not loyal. I hate people who rat people out and i hate people who only look out for themselves and disregard what people have done for them in the past.

The way the Giants treated Barry Bonds is an absolute travesty.
