    Planning a trip to Europe

Anyone have any useful information or traveling tips to get the most out of the trip. Costs? Best places to see, eat, stay? What things are a must do?

    Thanks for the input!

If you are on a budget, eastern Europe is the best. Prague in czech republic is very cheap compred to popular western euro cities such as amsterdam, paris, rome etc. IN prague there is a great party scene with nice bars, pubs and night clubs and there are also casinos all over for poker, gambling and sports betting. Sight seeing is also great....its an old city with lot of history and architecture is similar to of rome. Easy to get laid as well and the local women are hot. Becareful if you go to strip clubs, especially of those girls that bug you to get a dace...never take a drink from them and never try to pay with cred!t cards to strippers....especially if they tell you that they would come to your hotel if you pay more.

Still trying to figure that out Sneak, girl wants to do the usual tourist things..Italy, France...

Some damn good insight there Tonicjuice! We want to do it all. Not on a real budget, but not sure what a budget exactly is. We are looking at around 4k for everything (flight, and hotel) is that an accurate budget to get over there and enjoy? We arent big on staying at the fanciest place or eating at the nicest restaurant, but also arent looking to "bum" it either. Trying to figure out where is the cheapest place to fly into from LA

Prague is good with your buddies...if you are going with significant other, cancel prague. If you are on a budget, croatia and greece are amazing to with a girl.

If you take your advice of your girl and go to paris or rome, do a lot of research because there are shit ton of tourist traps and everything is expensive.

Ukraine is an excellent choice these days. I sublet my apartment there in December for $200 a month in their currency. I'm back to Ukraine in a week, and now he owes me $80 a month because inflation rate there is 250% in 2 months

i am going in a month my girlfriend found a package deal 4 grand for 12 days includes airfare hotels and train passes. Rome,Venice, paris somewhere else idk. Only take what you can carry in a backpack or carry on don't lug a suitcase as it'll be hard to lug around on trains and what not from place to place

Where did she find that deal at? Yeah that's what I have been reading, hauling around big suitcases in not the business when hopping on trains all the time! Where are you guys flying into? As of right now, I find that the cheapest is flying into copenhagen.

I have heard Ireland is cool from a few people.

i have been to Rome Italy and that IMO is the worst place on Earth.

Munich Germany is very cool but expensive. Nice bars and cool parks.. i never made it to Berlin but i want to go there. Been to Frankfurt and i like that place too.

I have not been to Amsterdam but i cant say i really see the point since Colorado is closer for me

Thanks for the info! Yeah I feel that the best thing to do is get a hotel in different cities and just travel all around. Just have a city we have to get to on a certain day, and then make the most out of just being there and winging it. A friend of ours wants to do a tour, but we all know that is for suckers! They dont understand that the tours prey off stupid tourists that just throw money their way. Im in favor of my plan and just taking 2 weeks to have a fun time and seeing all the places without a set time to be somewhere or some dumb tour!

A few suggestions off the top of my head.

Cornwalls really nice, right on the ocean .

Gotta check out London obviously, your lady will enjoy the shops, also should check out the London Eye its like a Giant Ferris Wheel that overlooks the city. If your into Castles, theirs a few you can visit such as Buckingham Palace,Windsor Castle, and Tower of London.

Brightons really nice aswell its down on the coast its similar to Coney Island, its got some really old Pubs,I know their are a couple that have been around since the 1500's.

iWhite Cliffs of Dover are something to check out aswell.

Sold! Yeah all of those places are now on the list! Where would you suggest the best place to stay while there? Also, on average, what do the trains cost, say going from London to Paris?
