Yeah, it is much easier to take out 5-10 targets from various of distances with a firearm. With a sword or machete I would imagine it would be much more difficult, since you will have to be right in front of that person. You could also defend yourself from a machete with a chair or mop if necessary, or even with self defense skills. You have zero chance doing any of that against a gun.

The point of this thread if anyone bother reading it was, if we had less guns then their would be less killings.

But all this guns nuts are talking about something else like the 2nd amendment. This thread is not talking about banning guns which I feel should never happen ever. But if we had absolutely not guns available to the common citizens in the US, the homicide deaths each year would be considerable less.
