Just because hope solo's clit is almost as long as your cokk, it does not make her the best soccer player ever bear.

Gretzky had all the goons after him, in every shift he played, but they couldn't catch him. he ran circles around
them, embarrassing them, which resulted in penalties that turned into more goals.
and there was no overtime, if there was he'd have a riot playing 4 on 4.

Actually you can make a case for Gehrig, but this is where the comparison goes south, Ruth pitched.
My vote is still Ruth, he has more shutouts pitched than Randy Johnson, and for a fat whale, he was fast.

    Football is LT
    Golf is Jack.
    Tennis is Margaret Court
Basketball is MJ (Russell belongs in the conversation)
Hockey is Messier, without Messier Gretzky is not nearly as famous.

Putting Orr & Lemieux ahead of Gretz & Mr. Hockey is nonsensical & shows your lack of history in that particular sport. No one & I mean NO ONE dominated their sport more thoroughly than Wayne Gretzky. If Orr's knees.....if lemieux's back....blah blah...

If I tried harder & did t get hurt when I was 11 I could have been the greatest...
    Doesn't mean that I am.

    Basketball us the same.

Football & baseball are a little different because of positionality.

Just watching Barry Bonds step into the batters box would give me chills. The type of dude that watching him play causes the hair on your arms and back stand up.

Amazing player. Definitely worth the ticket price to see him.

Same here - but this was only after he went into orbit ('roids).

I've never seen anything like it, that .700 OBA and practically standing on top of the plate - and the arm pads - and slapping singles out of the park. Totally unreal, surreal. Was fun while it lasted, but no way any of those dudes go in the hall. Tell you the truth, most of the players in that era (including Saint Mariano, but there are too many to list) are suspect as hell.

Griffey, Jr / Thome / Frank Thomas - these players probably did not do steroids, as the arc of their performance relative to age a mirrored that generations of baseball players before them. The game of baseball and the way it's played essentially doesn't change.
