I was in Vegas last February right after the superbowl and I came across next to nothing in terms of GOOD ingame betting. (by good, meaning books that don't require you to wait in line during commercials to place a bet) Curious to hear what you find.

I'm at the Westgate and it's like Rangerz said wait in line during commercials. I want something that can take basket by basket in game. I think I'm going to hit up The Riviera next and see what's up with Will Hill.

Sidenote: I'm always amazed when I come here and they don't post every total for every college game. I went to Cantor/Will Hill and Westgate (who usually has everything) looking for the Georgia St/Georgia Southern total. Nobody has it. 5d/Heritage/Betonline can do it but every book in Vegas only does TV games?!!?!?.....that's ridiculous in my opinion.

Yep exactly. Was at the westgate last February and you had to wait in line during commercials to get your bet in. Unbelievably awful.

And you're a wanna be pro gambler. Seen your posts and there is nothing more pathetic than an arrogant know it all who doesn't even know that much. The fact u created a thread asking about live betting in vegas shows u don't even have much of a clue.

Also weren't you the guy that didn't want to receive a wire that was just over 5 figures and wanted to break it into 2 transactions? And you have the nerve to call someone a recreational. when you're not much of anything. Also the fact that you keep asking tax questions to others in this forum is just hilarious as well for someone that supposed is not a recreational player.

Keep it up dude. One day you will be a pro gambler.

Only Book we use in Vegas is William Hill. Live in game daily and you can buy points if you want or need to. Far superior book to anyone in town. However at the end of the day. Off shore still has us beat hands down.

    It Is What It IS.

1.) For someone to be a professional gambler in todays day and age, they wouldn't have to step FOOT in Vegas. So me asking about what vegas has to offer, and you using that as a way to discredit me is nothing short of moronic.

2.) No, I did not ask about splitting up wires. I am well aware of what structuring means, thanks though.

3.) I am someone who likes to acquire as much knowledge on a topic as humanly possible. There are various ways gamblers file their taxes, and it doesn't hurt to know how everyone goes about it. (even if they go about it in a wrong way)

Thanks for your concern, but I do just fine for myself. One day, maybe you can do the same.

    1. This is pretty obvious. You didn't even know that? Anyone would know this.

    2. You sure about that? I was pretty sure there was some guy that asked about this or creating another bank account just so they can receive a wire then cashout. Im pretty sure it was you b/c the way that person spoke sounded just like you.

    3. So you telling me this entire time... u still haven't filed taxes for someone that is supposedly not recreational? If so you are pretty hilarious for someone making fun of others for being recreational but i pretty much assumed that from your asking tax questions like a newbies to others here. Yes there are many ways to file their taxes. For most ppl they dont file b/c they are not winners. For people who do win, theres only a few ways to file... not many various ways. Theres only very few options for someone to file based on their situation... its not like should i file this way or that way or another way. The fact that you still don't know this would put you wanna be pro gambler.

Look i don't like to comment bad on other posters here. But i dont' like reading posts from arrogant know it and calling others recreational to make fun of them when they are pretty much the same thing.

1.) What am I claiming not to know? I KNOW you don't need to step foot in vegas. I was hoping they offered something better than they did. I wasn't in Vegas to gamble. But I figured while there, I might as well check out what they have to offer. I don't see why you have a problem with this.

2.) No, that wasn't me. Go ahead and find the thread where I said that, feel free. Making a new account just to receive a wire? I can assure you a ridiculous idea like that would never pop into my head.

3.) Where the hell did I say I HAVEN'T filed my taxes? You are making ridiculous assumptions that aren't even in the ballpark of being true.

You simply aren't worth my time. You calling me an arrogant know it all without having the slightest clue about my situation is simply the pot calling the kettle black. Every single assumption you made was wrong, but that's okay. Keep at it.

Being a Pro sports gambler, One doesn't have to live in Vegas. That is a Misconception and HAS Been for YEARS.

    1. The issue is for someone that talks a lot like they know something when they dont. Did you seriously think the vegas live betting options would be good? I mean... anyone that has a clue could tell you they are bad. Anyone with a clue can tell you what they offer isn't good. There are some good stuff at times but limits are pathetic.

    2. I found the thread. You posted this on covers and it was with matchbook and you didn't want to receive a wire all at once because it was just barely 5 figures. Then considered opening a new bank account and closing it later on for that reason. Normally i dont waste time with posters but you being very arrogant, its time to put someone like you in their place. Does that ring a bell? Or you going to make another compulsive lie. You want me to link that thread here? Or you going to say oh i forgot about it.

    3. When you keep asking other people question about taxes, its pretty obvious you don't even pay taxes. Anyone that pays taxes on gambling winnings wouldn't be concerned with what others do. So from your posts, its pretty obvious. Really you file taxes? What do you file under? Oh wait you probably going to google this b/c you don't even know what answer to say. The fact that you said there are many ways to file gambling winnings proves you don't even know what you are saying. Whats many ways? 5-6 different ways? Theres not that many different ways you could so based no that its pretty obvious. Also when you say you wanted to know what others do with their taxes whether they do it right or not, if they are doing it wrong, why don't you go and correct them and tell them how they should be filing? Oh wait i forgot u dont even file b/c you are not a pro gambler. You see where im going with this?

Your situation is you are most likely a winner in online sportsbetting but you don't even bet that much a game. I would assume you bet max 500 a game. Thats not a pro gambler, i dont want to put you down but im just telling you the truth. My issue with you is you sound like you know everything. You keep posting in threads where ppl talk about getting limited or high limits. Saw some thread where some person asked where to bet high limits in nfl live betting and you said bookmaker lets you do 5k-10k a time so you could probably only get 50k in a game with an issue. Now have you ever placed a live bet that high? No...200-500 dollar live bets don't count. The issue with this is throughout the years you still dont even know about gambling and taxes and thats the hilarious part about all this and you keep mentioning pro gambler. Also i just saw a thread of yours where you talk about live betting nba and betting like 20-50 dollars on a game. This is just beyond embarrassing for a so called professional gambler. You're basically the equivalent of a 50nl online poker player saying how they know everything when you still stuck at low stakes.

If you weren't so arrogant know it all, i would probably answer all your gambling taxes questions in just one paragraph so you don't have to keep asking this when someone ask about it in a thread. But since you act the way you do, you can just continue to ask others here on this forum like you been the last few years.

1.) Not once did I say I thought they'd be good, am I talking to a wall here? I was curious about the experiences people had, I sure as hell wasn't expecting anything there that was better than what I'm currently offered offshore. Limits is EXACTLY one of the biggest concerns even if they were offered, which is exactly what I asked to the LVH manager I spoke to last year and was told $500 at most. (wouldn't be worth the time)

2.) Matchbook?!? LOL I haven't had a matchbook account for 5 years. And back when I did, I was the furthest thing from a professional gambler. I have never said I have been a professional for years. What I was doing back in the matchbook days was the furthest thing from what I do now. Link whatever the hell you want.

3.) I'm not claiming to be a damn tax expert, I never have. I also never said there are countless ways to file as you seem to think I am. There are different ways based on your particular situation as you said. Not 5-6 random ways that are completely different. I said hearing others experiences/strategies is never a BAD thing, even if they aren't doing it the right way. I'm not one to comment in that field on what is right/wrong.

You don't have the slightest clue on my situation. Is it possible your average bet size is more than me? Sure. But I'd find it hard to believe you have been more consistent than I have in the past couple years. The covers threads you are referencing were talking about someone ELSE betting 20-50 per game, sure as hell not me. Read it again you tool. I'm not someone who feels the need to brag about account balances. I do just fine for myself and I could absolutely care less what you do and don't believe. This will be my last post in this thread.

    1. I will not talk about this topic anymore. You always seem to be worry about limits. Are you even betting at least 1k a game at least now? The issue i have with other posters here is they keep complaining about low limits when they dont even bet anywhere near that.

    2. http://www.covers.com/postingforum/P...0991696&page=1
Just look at your posts in the 1st and 2nd page. So you telling me thats not you? Let me get this straight so what you were doing in the matchbook days and now is much different? Really? But you said you been very consistent throughout the years. See where this is going and how what you are saying isn't right?

    3. There are various ways gamblers file their taxes, and it doesn't hurt to know how everyone goes about it. (even if they go about it in a wrong way). That sounds like theres quite a few ways to do it aren't it? Again why would you even care about how other ppl handle their gambling taxes if it doesn't affect you? Does them not paying or paying affect you? Also if their way of doing is wrong, why don't you suggest them what to do then? Based on your posts you dont even file taxes for your gambling winnings. I can care less if u do or not but the way you keep sounding arrogant with everything but then your posts about taxes and how novice those questions are just proves you dont know anything about it.

What is your situation? From your posts, you complain about low limits from books. You play at betonline. You talk about bookmaker probably taking 5-10k live bets during nfl games and you could probably get down 50k a game without an issue when you probably never put anything close tot the amt in the first place. You keep talking about betonline doing 15k max wires when you probably do 5k wires b/c you are afraid of withdrawing 10k or more at once. You dont even really understand how gambling and taxes are in the us. Have you ever done a wire for 5 figure in your life?

You play at betonline. We don't even have to talk about average bet size because you play at betonline. No one takes anyone serious when their main book is betonline. No offense to betonline as they are probably a good book for most players here at sbr.

Again if you weren't arrogant in many of your posts, i give you some advice on those questions you had for gambling taxes so u can finally figure it out after all these years asking the same questions over and over to other people.

Any reason you don't want to discuss the link i posted? I understand since you probably want to dodge the question and have too much pride to say you were wrong. However, i have a tough time believing you would forget something like this since you keep asking gambling tax questions for a forum like this every single time.

If you dont respond back, its pretty obvious why.
