Besides using the MLife rewards, what other ways does this happen? I'm sick and tired of hearing guys from SBR saying that they got free rooms and food and other perks through some program because the majority of SBR posters are 100% grade A angus hamburger degenerates.

What's the magic? Is MLife the only way to go?

Kathy their Race and Sports manager is the greatest. So my advice is to get to know the staff and comps will come your way.....of course with a decent amount of play as well.

What's a decent amount? I always play sports at the MGM but nobody ever give some type of announcement.

ask for things, what is the worse thing they can say? you say your not a big timer then step your game up. what jj just said is true it can be cheaper to pay for your room meals etc instead of trying to be a big timer. im rfb at any czr property my avg craps bet is 600 though. would be much cheaper to be a 100 bettor and pay for things im just a dumb ass

Caesars chain should give you rooms as well. At the lower tier ones, I would guess $50-75/hand over 4 hours a day will get you a room.

The fact that they are bankrupt will probably make it even easier since they want as many people playing at their casinos as they can get right now. Last time I was in vegas I barely played total rewards and I still have free weekend offers for the next 3 months

Get enrolled in a VIP program at a place like Harrah's (a Ceasar's property). This isn't a mystery. The casinos have outlined the requirements for benefits all over the place. You just need to talk to a casino host.

For many of the programs, it seems, (with exceptions depending on the bettor) the sportsbook rarely counts. After all, that's where the casino is vulnerable.

Talk to a casino host. I've considered being one myself, but it's not like the old days. Now it's big corporate in control, less personal. Either way, perks are still available. Just ask.

You don't have to be a whale to get perks, like Gonz said they are giving comp nights out like hot cakes.

I go to Vegas every year to play in WSOP. Besides poker, which casinos don't care about, all I play is video poker to get my tier credits up in the Ceasars total rewards program. I never even reach the next level. If you know how to play VP it's easy to put $10,000 in action on a $1 machine in about 5 hours and end up +/- $100. This is all I ever do. I can stay at any Carsars property nationwide Sun-Thursday for free at any time. On Weekends the rates are 50-70% off regular price. For the WSOP I'll go for 3 weeks and around 10 days are comped at Ceasars and I'll get a few others days comped at MGM. I've never played a table game or placed a bet on their property.

I go to Reno and Tahoe constantly (prab 5-8 times a year), and I've never paid a cent for a room at these property's weekend or not. I do the VP thing about 2-3 times a year then just poker the rest of the time. I average about 25 comped nights a year.

Comps wise casinos aren't giving out anything for poker. Like $1/hr in comps and 1% of buyin in comps for tournaments. The house only gets a rake so they don't reward you like they do a blackjack player. I've put thousands of HOURS live play in at a local casino and have never gotten a free room offer.

Oh and I also get free upgrades with my TR card on comp'd rooms.
