As a member of this site for almost four (4) years, I am VERY DISAPOINTED with SBR. What I am about to say is not just a one -time event but an observation of almost four (4) years. Ban me, beat me or whatever; it is not a major concern of mine. I will still collect my pay check each week.
I sent a Moderator (Whom &Why is completely immaterial at this point) a private message. I followed up my private message with a posting he next day on one of his posts to ensure the moderator received the private message. The next day I sent another courtesy message through SBR’s email system again to ensure he received my original private message. Now I know all Moderators are busy doing their required work load by SBR. However, if they have the time to post on the boards etc, I see no reason why a quick generic “Message received and will be back in touch as soon as possible” message within a forty-eight (48) hour time period is so hard. Having no type of response is not only personally irritating but completely unprofessional as a business standard!
Easy solution: Moderators & staff members should have a set-up in their internal email/private message accounts with a generic response box (like the icon set-up SBR has) with pre-made blurbs. A generic response then could be sent within a few seconds to clients or other staff members once a private message or email has been opened. A response should be sent even if the email must be forwarded to another staff member due to his /her expertise on any given matter.
Communications is an extremely useful business tool for both internal and external usages!!!
***Prior to posting this, I have checked my posts, private messages and my personal email account associated with my SBR account and STILL NO RESPONSE!
Is part of SRB’s business plan to:
Allow abusive language (both written and videos)
Allow personnel to be threatened
Allow minors to participate in a gambling site
Promote sexual harassment
Allow pornographic photos and videos
Maybe it is time to re-evaluate what this site has turned into. SBR started out as a great site with the potential to SET THE STANDARDS IN THE INDUSTRY not fall way behind the standards as it seems to be doing on its present course.
Ladies and gentlemen of SBR, my intent is not to bash the site but merely bring to your attention what this site has become over the last few years. Your potential is unlimited in this industry. Do not forget what your original conception was for your corporation. I truly think you have strayed a little from your original plan. However, you have the competent staff to rebound and gain what is rightfully yours!
Best Regards,
