are you fckin' kiddin me......... that was a fckin catch.... plus, even if the mtha fcka wasn't making a "football move" after havng both feet down and full possession, ie, trying to put the ball over the goal line, he still maintained possession such that when he lost it, he caught the f'n ball in the endzone for a fckin' touchdown........

Another bad part is all of the Dallas haters chiming in with dumbass comments when the debate should be whether it was a catch or not...regardless of team or what happened last week

The ball moves when it touches the ground...if it doesnt, its a completely different outcome. Where are these two steps people are referring to? He doesnt even have control until its in his left hand and by that time hes falling down

Refs helped the Cowboys all game long up until then.

The Lions/CJ play was completely different. I am going to punch the next person who says that in the face. And I had nothing on the game and don't really care. Just believe they blew the call.

Yes AND his elbow/forearm was down before the ball came loose. They blew the call, but it was a judgment call, so they can say that's our judgment.

I think you mean the other way around. The Detroit one was for a TD, this one wasn't.
I was on Dallas and it's the rule, not even pissed. More pissed that it should never have been close. They blew it at the end of the half, missed FG after a false start, the Murray fumble and not recovering the fumble on the kickoff right in their hands. Had every chance in the world to put GB away and blew it. Their own fault they lost.
They're anal about the rule because they have to be. There is absolutely no way it is even remotely possible to create a rule which defines what is and isn't a catch which is both simple and applies to every single situation imaginable.
The rulebook cannot be vague. It cannot say "well if it looks like a catch then call it a catch, otherwise don't.... whatever you feel like works...."
yes I know briguy, but if you watch the play he takes 3 solid steps, I think the ball is allowed to pop out after that, and then it's a fumble, that's what I'm saying.
Except he didn't take 2 steps. He took 1 step and fell to the ground. The rules say you have to complete the process of the catch and he didn't.
And I say this as someone who bet on the over and wanted Dallas to score.
