Has anyone noticed that recently a lot of ranked teams have lost their first road game of the year? Of course there are a few exceptions

    Washington lost twice
    Nova @ Seton Hall
    Providence @ Marquette
    N Iowa @ Evansville
    St Johns @ Seton Hall
    Arizona @ UNLV
    Kansas @ Temple
    Seton Hall @ Georgia

    and so on...

Shouldn't St. John's be more like +2.5? That line is a bit of a head-scratcher to me.

I think it's because they have lost two straight, but Nova just lost their first (real) road game. Both teams are very good on the defensive end, the more I look at this game the more the UNDER seems to be the play. St John's is getting Jordan back tonight, their 2nd leading scorer, I mean they could flat out win this game. I'm taking either the Johnies or the under

cant decide on whether to play johnnies before the gm or wait till half, most gms ive bet them id wish i have waited, they some slow starting mf'er. that said 1st half under may be worth a look. def think points will be hard to come by..

Agreed, both teams have been really solid on the defense end. Unless the refs start calling fouls all over the place and it turns into a free throw contest we could easily see a 64-60 type game

VT lost @ Florida State last year by 20, you would think those players and coaches who were around last year would remember that...

Villanova plays great at MSG. Just beware of betting St Johns.

    I'm on CMU +8, debating Uconn -8...

Two good defensive teams in Nova and the Johnnies, thinking a low scoring game. Hoping they can hang around maybe even win. Fun time of year now that we are a few games into league play. Good luck to ya

SBR must've gotten crushed last night. Saw so many posters on St Johns, Minnesota and Iowa state.

SMH. People think they can just look at the numbers next to the teams and bet successfully.
