Watch out for the Detroit Pistons....

Waiving Smith and getting Meeks back has made them look like a different team

Not saying they are potential Champs by any means but they are looking much different than they did early on

They have assets to move if they want to shake things up or can stand pat and hope to roll a little more but watch out for these guys they might start causing some damage in the East

The Pistons will be a playoff team this year, and in the weaker Eastern Conference, will have the chance to make some noise.

If they make the playoffs I bet they will be the only team to have done so after starting 5-23.

    NBA = Never Bet Again
    for me.

I'll watch it if i get a chance to see a game live and in person for entertainment purposes only but its too boring on tv.

The thing for me is if i have a bet on an NBA game i dont feel any more confident in my team winning if they are up 17 points in the 3rd quarter as i would be if my team were down 10 in the 3rd quarter.

The 1st 3 quarters mean absolutely nothing in NBA.

I like doing ML parlays in the NBA. I pretty much flip through the games on NBA League Pass. Like hearing the perspectives of different team announcers, and it keeps me familiar with the rosters of the clubs. Only watch full games when my Rockets are on, or when the playoffs start.

I am 4-0 on the Pistons wince the trade....last night they were -3 and crushed their the Kings....easy money.

Getting rid of Smith was the best thing they ever did....like when the Raps got rid of Gay.

NOW, the most important thing to watch is Houston.....Smith played well for a couple of games and they did ok with him....BUT, the guy is a cancer. Watch for Houston to go into a mini-slump and take advantage if you can!!

    Good call Clips!!

The Pistons are headed in the right direction, and getting rid of Josh Smith was addition by subtraction. However, they're still a year or two away from making any noise, even in the East. I do like SVG as coach, the guy is sharp and he'll eventually get them to where they want to be, but like I said, they're a couple of years away

I think it's worth a shot taking them to come out of the east as well as winning it all

I see the odds of them winning it all at 1000-1

Something tells me if they land Johnson they will go hard after Lawson

I'm not sold on any team out East

Why not throw $10 on it and see what happens

If Detroit added Johnson and Lawson they would be dangerous, nothing is a given but I'm not sold on Hawks and at 1000-1 odds what's 10 bucks?

Well $10 on Hawks would win you a bunch and at least you get a chance. Your bet is a waste of mullah.

Joe Johnson would not make the Pistons better.

Joe Johnson automatically makes any team worst. Just look at his career. No surprise Hawks got better after he left. Partially due to Josh Smith leaving too, but he was part of the problem. Joe Johnson is the king of the worst isolations in the nba.

Let this Detroit trade happen, bring in Lawson and there's your eastern conference Champs

I'm going to stick to my guns and say if they are able to upgrade the roster with Johnson and Lawson before the trade deadline which is a big if they will come out if the East

Even with Johnson and Pope still running the point I give them a shot

    Cavs will win the East.

Lebron will be ready for the playoffs.
