Why dont go out and pick up a Harold Loyd video and skip the next game, you wont be disappointed.

You do realize that Arkansas late is one of the best teams. Swoopes is not a good QB, and it showed.

Charlie Strong is a really good coach, in time he should turn that program around. Funny thing is had he went say 11-2 everyone would be saying well he did it with Mack Brown's players. Charlie Strong isnt a joke, critics are a joke.

The most puzzling thing about the ineptitude of the program is the number of bums they've had under center in recent years. My god, this is Texas... they should be rolling out blue chippers annually. Hell, there should be such a glut of talent at the position that there's blue chippers on the bench. How a guy like Swoopes, or even David Ash, is the starter at UT is beyond me.

Granted, Arkansas came on strong at the end of the year. If we had an 8-team or 16-team playoff (like we should) nobody would want to play the Hogs. But Texas had 59 total yards in their biggest game of the year. Except that he's black and has a porn star name, how can you make a case that Charlie Strong is a good coach? JJ Gold could've been under the headset and the Horns couldn't have done any worse. Don't believe the hype. This guy cannot coach football!

Charlie Strong is a "my way or the highway" head coach. I was against this hire from day one and so far, I have been proven right. You guys who think he is so good want to explain a 6-7 record? The first losing season since 2010 and the second overall since 1992? These guys could not beat a BYU team at home that lost to Memphis in their bowl game. Not only did they lose, but they lost by the tune of 41-7. Texas is losing the recruiting wars to A&M, Baylor, TCU, and Oklahoma in Texas. Strong will be there for two more years and then they will fire him and go after a real HC.

Texas also has a terrible black QB. He can't pass in the pocket AT ALL

Texas has to deal with strong competition from Baylor, TCU, & Texas A&M in their own back yard. Something they've never had to deal with before. Use to be they could have the pick of the liter with recruits. Not the case anymore.

If you're a high school football stud and they recruit you to Austin, then Waco, which one is gonna excite you more? Let me answer for you--it's Austin. Best college town in America. Prettiest girls. Great night life. Awesome music. Legendary football history. There's only thing keeping recruits away from UT. It's dipsticks like former head coach Mack and new HC Charlie Strong, who can't run a Pop Warner caliber offense. Who the fck is calling the shots there? Pathetic.

if they don't have a guy who is just big and faster than everyone else on the field (vince young), they don't win mack his national championship. that championship probably hurt texas football as much as anything. they were pretty good with colt mccoy, but i think the championship bought mack all those post-mccoy years where they have been pretty bad.

I think there is something to be said for Big man on campus like a football player at waco would be ---
UT is a city in itself and Austin is so big spread out to the northwest that the actual center is town is app. 6 miles to the downtown area. Even Alabama would have a small school atmosphere compared to UT>

I cashed a big play on Swoopes under 227 yards passing. I agree Texas looked like crap, but there were some great betting opportunities instead of taking +7 against a very good Arkansas team.

If Texas could keep the in-state recruits NO ONE could ever touch them. The talent in the state is pillaged every year by all the big 5 conferences.
