    Darren Sharper owes Russian bookies.

    Douchebag couldn't pay $25,000

    Sharper was gambling on football and baseball according to testimony from Blythe. He gambled through a business owner Licciardi knew but when he started placing high-stakes wagers he was referred to a group of California-based "Russians."

    According to the testimony, Sharper lost $25,000 and didn't pay; the bookie warned Licciardi about future repercussions.

    "They'll get your address and they will come kill you," the bookie said he warned Licciardi.

    Serial rapists are a different breed, I remember my brother had a guy on his high school football team who went around raping elderly women for two years, this was back in 88, he's still in prison, he was about 18 when he was doing that, the women were 65+.

    The bookies would more likely just eat the 25k, not worth jeopardizing your entire operation by trying to kill a guy you can't collect from anyways.
