    Bears were 10-6 with Lovie Smith in 2012 and they fired him

    brought Trestman in and went 8-8 and from the looks of it, the might go 5-11 this year

    now I think Lovie is an idiot for a coach as well, but he was much better than Trestman and he'd built a system that worked for the most part

    Well according to Brandon Marshall's preseason hype, Cutler was supposed to have been MVP this ​year.

    I think it's safe to say that BM does not have a future as a talent scout.

    In regards to Marshall, what do you expect him to say? "Cutler (or Henne) sucks, we should get somebody better." I have no problem with him supporting the QB no matter how outrageous his comments are.

    As much as I dislike cuntler, the biggest problem is trestman.He should have been fired at halftime of the packer game and they should have just moved up a coordinator for the remaining season. They have more than enough talent to be competitive, this is clearly just a case of a train wreck of a head coach.

    Wait, what are you talking about?

    I never slammed Marshall for simply supporting a teammate.

    The comment I was alluding to took place in the preseason, unsolicited from any reporter. Marshall was touting Cutler as a league MVP candidate. This was not some perfunctory appraisal amongst comrades, merely showing goodwill. Marshall went out on a limb and said something to the effect of Cutler having a breakout season and vying for MVP accolades, and he did so with utmost sincerity.

    So yeah, I think it's safe to say he whiffed on that one.
