Manziel was about as ready to play in the NFL as I am. That was embarrassing to any Browns coach who thought he was an improvement; that should be grounds for immediate dismissal.

If you want to watch a rookie who has been prepped right, watch Teddy Bridgewater. Manziel would have been better staying in college and actually developing some QB characteristics .... footwork being #1 from the looks of things that he is lacking.

No scrambling QB has ever succeeded in the NFL long term. Ever. Steve Young is the closest thing and he was a concussion away from being a vegetable.

What's funny is the few plays I decided to watch of him, Marvin Lewis' description seemed pretty accurate. He looked about as small as Doug Flutie. When your ego gets ass raped, must make you lose another 2-3 inches.

I get that the nfl is a what have you done for me lately league, but without hoyer the Browns aren't 7-6 and fighting for their season today. So they implant a rookie who was a playmaker in college. Rumblings say the locker room wanted the change but at what point does a coach take control of the men he leads. Obviously hoyers play ain't ideal, but it sure as Fukk wasn't that.
