    Watched that game. Seems to me there was some suspicion of match-fixing. It's common in Vietnam because the punishment is light. Only 1-2 men(bookies) will be jailed, the majority(players involved) will just get fines or suspended sentences.

    Malaysia certainly didn't do anything special. The Vietnamese defence created all the chances for them.

    "The Vietnam Football Federation will immediately ask for police to investigate the match," VFF deputy chairman Nguyen Xuan Gu told AFP in a strong indication officials believe team members might have played poorly on purpose.

    "We will seriously punish wrongdoing if we find any. The goals we let in were unacceptable, especially as we were playing at our home stadium," Gu added.
