Who Will Be Known As The Better QB: Favre or Rodgers?

    Interesting debate

Favre only made it to 2 superbowls. Only won one of them.

If Rodgers can win 3 Superbowls in his career, there is a good chance that he is regarded and greatest QB ever. He may not rack up the totals that Favre did but the numbers suggest he is a smarter, more accurate passer. Rarely throws INTs.

I think entirely different conversations about each. Who had/has better weapons?

I think Rogers by far with Nelson and Cobb as his top two. Favre had Javon Walker & Donald Driver for one awesome year in 04 I think, but otherwise it was Driver and ... a bunch of other guys that were not as good as Cobb. Not to mention the offense now is much more wide open then when Favre played which is saying something considering his gun slinging ways.

As mentioned before, Rogers far less INTs. Favre was a true slinger and risk taker which endeared him to many. It's like deciding whether you want to drive a Ferrari or a Maserati ... you're not going to lose with either choice.

Farve because he came before rodgers and groomed rodgers into being the QB he is today. Rodgers learned everything from Farve and yes i meant to use an R before the V in Farve because it sounds like that and its how it should be spelled not favre

Donald Driver, Antonio Freeman, Greg Jennings, Robert Brooks, Andre Rison, Sterling Sharpe, James Jones and Ahman Green catching balls out of the backfield weren't too bad.

Damn my memory must be shit, forgot about a lot of those guys. Still think the current GB system has maybe the best 1-2 punch they have ever had ... so really it's a tough choice still.

    Favre is the better qb.
if Favre played with today's rules.
this is a different game now.
    favors the passer big time.
Stats cannot be compared legitimately anymore
also Green Bay as an organization
is better than they used to be.

The only thing favre taught Rodgers is what bone head throws NOT to make. Rodgers protects the ball the way he does cause of favre.

Rodgers never had an offensive line that favre did. Had bookend tackles for a decade and an offensive line that paved the way for Ahman Green to run for 1800 yards. Why didn't they win the Super Bowl? One of the many bonehead throws favre made in the playoffs. Ask the Viking fans, they know what I'm talking about.

It's Rodgers easily. Favre had better talent around him, both sides of ball, and Favre lost alot of games single=handidly for GB, AR has not.

If you have to even ask this question ... you're an idiot.

Rodgers greatest QB ever, already, just weirds people out to say it while someone is playing.

Only Staubach can compare because he's the babe ruth of NFL QBs, stats etc.

    think people think
