Jerry Rice infuriated & embarrased by 49ers performance, Seahawks turkey celebration
The San Francisco 49erswere embarrassed on national television on Thanksgiving, and the embarrassment continued in the post-game show. As has become tradition, turkey was handed out to players of the game. In this case, Russell Wilson and Richard Sherman were the ones honored for their performances. Rather than do something quick on the sideline, NBC set up a table at mid-field and conducted the honoring and post-game interviews there.
There are many way to avoid having this happen again.
First thing that comes to mind..
Try scoring more than 3 fukkin points in front of your home fans.
The whole thing is kinda weird to me. The Seahawks beat them in the NFC Championship game and won the super bowl. They act like its the 1st big game they ever won. I guess they have the right to celebrate, but the continuous rubbing it in the face of the Niners seems so unnecessary.
I think they play again in Seattle

Who cares what they won 20 years ago? The 1994 team was very cocky and disrespectful of opponents. They humiliated Chargers for no reason.

Commentators on tv said throughout the game that the offensive and defensive players of the game would have turkey and interview after the game. MOST people thought the 49ers would dominate and celebrate...BUT THEY LOST!!! Suck it up...Lynch just got fined $100,000 for not talking to the media...what were they supposed to do??
