Jerruh Jones will trade for Maniel!

Dez and DeMarco are due for contract extensions. Jerruh will pay max for Dez, but will run DeMarco into the ground this year. DeMarco makes $1.5 million and will want a max contract, no way for a running back that has taken that much punishment.

We know Jerruh wanted Manziel for the "Glitz and Glamour", but sober heads took the slip out of his hand and took Martin.
For some reason, people think Hoyer is a good quarterback:

    Brian Hoyer CLE QBR 82.4

Manziel has a rookie contract at $1.5 million. Jerruh can save some money by not re-signing DeMarco and spending the money to get a little Defense. As a backup, he will sign Adrian Peterson for a minimum contract with a ton of incentives.

Wait, I am giving Jerruh too much credit.

Dont know about trading for manziel...but you can bet that Murray wont be back. They can only afford him or dez and no way do you choose a rb over a top of the line wr. Plus all his recent comments about Randle being able to run just as well behind that line means he is pretty confident in handing the reigns over to him.

I still believe Ryan Williams is on the practice squad. He is really the type of running back that needs to run behind this OLine. Randle is definitely a "looney toone", but he does fit in with other criminals!

Well, you're pretty much wrong about everything but at least you make no sense either...

    1. Why would they trade any player of value for a backup QB? What does it say about Johnny Clipboard that he can't start over a Brian Hoyer CLE QBR 82.4.

    2. They don't have to sign Murray to long-term deal, DeMarco comes back on 1-year franchise player tag - $9.5 million, chump change in the grand scheme of things.

    3. Adrian Peterson sign a minimum contract? You're delusional brah, teams will line up with dump trucks full of cash for him if he doesn't go back to Minn.

    4. There was no taking a slip out of his hand, that's garbage story. And no, you're not giving 'Jerruh' enough credit - he listened to his people hired to give their input and took the right player, the possible LINEMAN rookie of the year. Jerry makes the final call on everything with the Cowboys...period.

Why would he trade for a QB?
